You said no one was tying me to a track!

I can't share my super secret method until I figure out how to bottle and sell it.

Didn't you already post it in the Million Dollar Idea thread?

    Agreed.
    To much. Mines better.

Mine doubles as an air freshener in case your hiccups cause flatulence :D

No, we've already solved that. Pay attention!

We might need an acne cure thread, though, because the options presented thus far are sub-optimal.

This would be a godsend if people actually suggested things that worked and didn't run into the hundreds of dollars. I have moderate adult acne, but I don't know if I want to pee in a cup to "cure" it.

I find coconut oil works way better for that and it moisturizes too.

I'd rather smell like coconuts (even though I dislike it) than urine any day of the week. :P

Drinking pickle juice for muscle cramps. Works pretty much instantly.

Unfortunately, that counts as self-harm if you are diabetic. What would you do then? (Not getting defensive, genuinely asking for myself.)

Depends on how controlled you are I guess. My Mom is type 1 and has used it, and for her it didn't spike her any more than a candybar or cupcake would. Otherwise....maybe just hope you only get hiccups when you are low?

My friend and I used to have peanut butter, pickle, and cheese sandwiches when we were kids. ALL THE TIME. WE LOVED it - yet neither one of us will eat it now. LOL

    Were you high

I thought you were supposed to add hot sauce to scrambled eggs?

LOL - I think we would get along great!

How are you with salsa on baked potato?

Again, you are telling me things that I thought were supposed to be done.

Too tame. Needs to be hotter.

It's a valid choice, but Slap Ya' Mama seasoning is a better choice.

    Right?

    Hotter = better.

Buuuuut.. not so hot I can't taste my food. I have some sauces like that, but they are usually reserved for chili and other large dishes. :)

I didn't say what kind of hot sauce. ;)

    That's it, I'm starting a hot sauce/condiment thread. Another failure, I'm sure.

Don't worry about a thread being a failure or not. Life Pro Tip: Bump that thread for 5 minutes so people respond to it.

I've found if you bump a thread here too often, it stops bringing that thread to the top of the page. That's what happened with some of the meme threads I started when I was posting consistently for five or so minutes.

Meme threads are different. Meme threads get shut down quickly because people post NSFW memes really fast.

I found if I bump a thread for a little bit people see it and start responding to it. It then depends on what people talk about.

IKISW, but.. when I have trouble sleeping... I visualise various calming scenarios, eg: A bed of clouds, gently pulsating with "my" calming colour(s) and temperature, swaddling me.

Don't judge me. Or do. I have "safe spaces", too. :grimace:

I like to focus on things that require concentration but are kind of boring, like visualizing a trip on the T I took in Boston years ago. It puts me right to sleep.

    Macaroni and cheese with ketchup

My husband’s entire family on his mom’s side does this! We had just started dating when he told me this... almost a deal breaker. LOL!
I’ll admit, I like some odd food combos, but we’ve been together almost a decade now and I still can’t wrap my mind around this one! (Or stifle my gag reflex! Ha!) But then again... to each their own! To be fair I’m not really a ketchup person anyway...
