    I hate hair on myself

    I alter between wax and laser

    When I went to school for cosmo I was taught to wax now I just do it myself
    Way quicker and easier

    I wax my back and shoulders...not super hairy, but I have this tuft on my upper back and traps that sticks out of t-shirts otherwise and I generally just don't like it.

    I used to shave it, but waxing it makes it last longer. I don't find it to be particularly painful either.

    Last time I went they tried to up-sell and started talking Brazilian...yeah...*kitten* no!!!

    Full Brazilian (F&B) , armpits, legs and brows get waxed once a month. I do have to touch up with a razor in between though

    I would think shaving it means it comes back faster. I would think just a tiny strip of wax there would be waaaaaaay less stress in the long run than constantly shaving or plucking hairs there.

    For all of you gals reading this, just wait until menopause. The hair on your legs, armpits and other areas stops growing...unfortunately Mother Nature has a sick sense of humor because all of a sudden you start growing hair on your chin...this is a phenomenon I call migrating pubes. Just as a kicker, Mother Nature picks this exact moment to mess with your eyesight so you don’t even KNOW you have a whisker on your chin. This is also why I have a magnifying mirror in my bathroom now. See, you have something to look forward to during your “golden” years.

    Oh well.. that's lovely. I have misplaced hair, but I just pluck them. Not on my chin, though. Great, now another thing to dread about menopause. :(

    Shaving is a pain. Waxing is true pain. Laser is OMFG.

    also it’s just not as effective on blondes. I’ve gone 12 times and it still hasn’t cleared completely. But on the bright side, if I grew it out it would look like a pretty sweet goat beard.

    And once I paid $50 to have my face shaved. Because I’m a dummy and they called it something fancy, like dermaplaning. Jerks

    No! I would totally use my epilator more often if it wasn't such a mission. I mean, who wants leg hairs flying through the air? I have to use it outside and get an extension cord and avoid epilating the dogs. The pain is mild compared to the pain of setting it all up

    No, I highly recommend laser. Especially if you have dark hair.

    Thanks to PCOS/Hirsutism, I've been best friends with my razor since the summer before my High School year. (Looooong time ago.) When I was around 28 I went back to my OBGYN and told her I was tired of having shaving as a morning routine, but didn't have the funds to do laser, so I went on BControl. (My testosterone level was through the roof, I was 28 and had never in my life had that wonderful T.O.M. It's still pretty high, but down thanks to the BC.) That helped some. This past year we added a blood pressure medication that is prescribed to people with Hirsutism as well as it helps with hair growth, too. It has definitely slowed it down in areas as well as lightened it, may go to a higher dose to see if it helps a bit more. Next would probably be the Vaniqa cream, but I don't want to spend $130 for a tube of it once a month. (No insurance.) I just live with it. We're not all blessed to be hairless; I can still bench press your boyfriend though, and THAT'S what matters! LOL ;)

    I get my neck, facial hair, Brazilian area, and belly button/abs lasered because I'm HAIRY and it's DARK. It's painful but it doesn't last a long time at all and I've made it kind of a mission to sit through higher settings because they're more effective.

    The dream is to laser legs but that's expensive af. So I shave them about once a week. Eyebrows I get professionally waxed every two weeks.

    I got a Groupon for the Brazilian :tongue:
    I'd originally purchased it for the neck and said that it wasn't included. So I got a Brazilian for like $120. Def NOT what I'd thought I was signing up for.
