Does that mean I have to add up my planned mileage?Spreadsheet is at home so I'll do it tonight. Starting my training for a 1/2 this month.

Not even March yet and already two pages deep. Typical.
Once again, not exactly sure what my goal should be. Last month I arbitrarily set it as 80 miles but only got 65 in. However, my real goal was just to start building my mileage back up and avoid a recurrence of ITB Syndrome.
So, this month I shall aim for 80 again, with the real goal being continuing to avoid the ITBS. I'll also be in Cancun for a week and I tend to not be very good about getting runs in while on vacation, lol.
Races
3/3 - Bill Fortune 5k
3/4 - Rock n' Roll New Orleans HM
4/8 - Cherry Blossom 10 Mile

Happy March all! Going into the month strong after my second sponsorship contract with Wunjo Sports going live today. I just need to get final signing to go live with sponsorship three and my season will be transparent in its gearing/funding. Legs are nearly 100% after the shenanigans in early February so I'll be conservative and put in for 400km.
Also, @juliet3455 you asked in February thread about my shoes through Salming but I only managed to photograph the treads for you today. For shame Jessica
This is the line up:
Trail3:
EnRoute:
Speed5:
The Speed is so fast that its kind of crazy to me. I cranked out 5km running sub 4 minute kms on what me and my HR monitor took as moderate exertion. Only difference is the shoes. If any of you shoe addicts are interested in trying Salming btw my friends and family discount code is MCBRIDE20

Welcome newbies, @lisaloum , @Tacklewasher, @angelicasassy, @jdunham221 !
March is a great month to run!1 -
I love running it completely changed my life but I have had to give it up for a while unfortunately, I have plantar fasciitis in my left foot and I have to take a 3 month break. I got a rowing machine to use while im not running but it just does not compare.
Almost 12 months to the day I started the C25K app I ran a marathon.9 -
March Goals:
1. Stay healthy
2. Continue training and trying to qualify for Boston
3. Run everyday (current streak 59 days)
4. Run at least 200 total miles
5. Have fun8 -
March goal of ZERO again for me. I'll be sitting over here with @girlinahat cheering everyone one!9

I've always bought Asics Nimbus. I'm defs looking to make a change. Not sure why I still have anxiety about going to a running store.
Will they hate me if I do the "get fitted for shoes" thing, but then want to buy online? Does that make me an *kitten*?0 -
NikolaosKey wrote: »Hi all! After 2.5 months out with piriformis syndrome I am now 95% ready. My goal is to stay healthy and run-ready. Let's say 120k for March!
Great to have you back @NikolasKey! Ease back in.

I buy if I can when I get fitted and will price shop the next pair. I give the running store a shot second time around, but am not tied to them.
Last pair I bought the cheapest was SportChek. Online was $25 more.2 -
Can anyone recommend a sun block that doesn't feel nasty when you sweat? It's getting to be racerback weather and I noticed I'm already getting a "runner's tan."
Also, does anyone use lock laces and what's your experience with them? The flat laces which came with my Brooks are driving me berserk - they have no give at all and don't adjust when you move, and I have to practically unlace my shoes to get in and out so I have to try to adjust them perfectly every time. And if I slightly miscalculate my toes fall asleep.0 -
Hi all! Another group newbie here.
Trying to get my weight down a little bit to get my times down a little as well. Ultimate goal is a Fall marathon to redeem my late drop out of last year's Philly marathon (life got in the way, making too little time to train.)
I am starting to add more tempo and hill runs to work on speed so I will go for a # of days goal vs mileage. I am hoping for 4 days a week at least!6 -

This is what I do. I'm ready for a new pair (just completed 400 miles on my shoes last night) and because the shoe I usually wear has been discontinued for a while now, I need to get back to the running store.

Ok. Rationally I know this is the right thing to do. Ok. To the store it is.3 -

I just added another race. Oops.
Also, I added them up and I have 13 races planned for this year. And I don't run my first one of the year until this coming Saturday. Oops.
Also, not entirely certain I won't be adding even more. Oops.

I don't have lock laces on the pair I am running in now, but I've used them in the past and like them. I was actually telling myself this weekend that I needed to get another pair for my current shoes. I think they are more "givey" than regular laces.2 -

Yeah, I do the same...
I need to get trail shoes and I'm at 300+ miles on my road shoes, so i can at least get my trail shoes in store and then have a sense of what my other road shoes options are. I love the Nimbus, but kind of want to try something different. I like the cushioning, but want less drop.1 -
Another new runner here! I just finished week 5 of C25K today - 20 minutes of run time with no walking break! It was slow (possibly got passed by a turtle at one point), but I did it! I'm setting a goal of 25 miles in March. Looking forward to following along here!11
