I'm having surgery in 18 days and the recovery period will be intense with very little exercise, which will mean walking ONLY, and in small, slow bursts.
1. I want to get back into my comfort zone before then (1.4 lbs to go to get to the top end of my 5 lb zone).
2. Get as much activity in as possible before surgery.
3. Stay within macros, logging everything both pre and post-op.
4. Maintain a healthy weight and recover quickly.6 -

YARN! That's a good reward. When I get close to my goal weight I'm ordering expensive cashmere yarn and making myself a lovely sweater

Tomorrow will be my 200th day of logging, and will mark one week until I take a month-long maintenance break while recovering from rotator cuff surgery. During my recovery, my mini goals are:
1. Continue tracking daily
2. Increase protein to support healing
3. Begin daily walks once I feel able to (within a week, I'm hoping)4 -
5 lbs of weight loss by the end of March0

My sisters wedding in July, I’m bridesmaid, then the boyfriend and I are going to Aruba, sun sea and more sun, so I don’t want to look like a whale on the beach. So hoping to lose another at least 25lbs by mid July. That would be perfect as it pretty much puts me into a healthy BMI as well. Yay.4

My first mini goal is to get under 165 pounds. The second is to be able to wear some of the beautiful clothes hanging in my closet that are still just a tad too tight.3

To lose 3 pounds by a month from yesterday. I move countries a month from today, and I'd like to do it in the normal BMI range.
1 more pound to go before normal BMI. Felt the need to remind myself of this since I had TOM-related bloat affecting my weekly weigh-in/measure-in.
Next mini-goal after that will be to have reached 10 total inches lost around my waist. This in particular will feel like such an accomplishment for me because I'm an apple shape who has diabetes in the family. As of last week I was 1.5 inches away from that goal (as of this bloated morning, 2 inches away).12 -

My current mini goal is to be under 70kg by the time I go on holiday mid April. Weighed in at 72.1kg today so hopefully looking good to achieve it.3

Mini goal this week is to try and be good on Friday. Going out with the girls for a night out so free food n drink so I need to be very careful what I’m eating/drinking. All good that is preordered is fried so I’ll be having a big salad at lunch so I won’t be too hungry later. Hopefully!2

Seeing "74" (as in 74 kg) in the number in the scale. Anything under 75. Even 74.9999. Am hoping to hit that in the next week or two.9

Starting weight at Christmas was 170. I am down to 160 as of this weekend. My current mini-goal is to get under 160 (may be a week or two for that).12
-
To make March my month for getting back on track! For real, not just for a few days or until the weekend. And to at least lose 5 pounds would be awesome.6
-
Mini goal right now is to get under 154 (under 11 stone). I'm 2.7 lbs away so maybe by next week??5
-
My new mini-goal (since I met my last one today) is to reach 183lbs (6 lbs from today's weight) so that I can say it's the smallest I've been since I had kids.8

My streak finally hit 777 days. Too bad I wasn't tracking for even a quarter of them. But I am now and I've been consistently staying in a deficit and loosing. I'm currently 251.6 (heaviest 277) and my next mini-goal is to get under 250. I haven't been under 250 in the last 15 years. I will hit that mini-goal this week so I'll set one that will take a little more time... I want to buy a fitbit but not until I know I'm really committed to lose this time, so once I hit 225 I'm getting one. I know it isn't necessary, but I like gadgets and it'll keep me moving and motivated.9

1. I want to be at about 62 lbs lost (I've lost 57 lbs so far). My son (who is 8) weighs about that much. He'll think it's amazing that I've lost as much as he weighs and it's a great visual for me.
2. I had set mini goals of 10% weight loss (instead of focusing on the big number). I'm currently working on my 3rd 10% goal. I have about 8 lbs to go for that one
I like the idea of breaking it down into 10% chunks!! It does seem more manageable. I have 140 pounds to lose and that seems so daunting so I may do what you are doing!4 -
For me it's Losing 11lbs to go from "obese" to "overweight " according to bmi ..5

Bitterness alert:
In about a month and a half I'm going to meet up with my mom for a holiday. We haven't seen each other in 2.5 years. My mom is vain and rich (from a business she started after I'd already moved out so I didn't grow up rich). She spends endless hours talking about all the men who she says tell her how beautiful they find her. In comparison, she could never stop herself from nitpicking my appearance since I was a child, even before I became heavy (I used to be thin enough, just not pretty enough; for example she used to call me 'big ears little girl'. I mean, it could be a lot worse but still).
She once offered me money to lose 50 pounds. I was in my mid-30s when she did this—it's not like I was her ward at the time or something. It was pretty insulting. On the other hand, I'm 1 pound away from 50 lost at the moment and I'm thinking of reminding her of her offer. I haven't lost the weight for her, but I could use the extra cash right now. How should I do it? Should I remind her via email now so she has time to wonder what's up or should I just surprise her at the airport and then demand my payday10 -
Next mini scale milestone: just over 2 lbs away!0
