What do you reward yourself with when hitting personal goals?

For mini goals ( losing < 5lbs, 1 inch etc ) I buy new clothes. I love fashion but I also have to be careful not to spend too much as I'm getting smaller. I don't even have to buy clothes at regular prices anymore. I have more options. I shop in the clearance section where I find brand names XS/S size clothes! I'm noticing that i'm spending less for a large amount of clothes compared to when I was bigger.
For major goals( next goal is a normal BMI- 5 pounds remaining) : I'm taking getaway trips to the beach. Miami Beach is a quick trip that I'm planning next.
When I finally reach my goal of 125-130lb, I'm taking a luxury cruise, not sure yet but I'm celebrating big. It will be the first time in my adult life that I have a normal weight. It's definitely worth a big celebration.8 -
When I was losing, I got a massage every 10 lbs.4

I'm just rewarding myself constantly all the time so...nothing in particular for meeting a goal. My goals are never really "met" anyway. As soon as I accomplish something, it's not enough.5

In 2011 I first joined MFP and soon decided that '10lb milestone' markers, something permanent, would work best for me..and not food
Since then (and many life challenges) weight has crept back on so I am now in the process of re-earning my 'markers', and I find them just as rewarding as I did 7 years ago.

I started at 307 and didn't consider doing rewards until a thread here on MFP (which I discovered a lot later, around 260 lb). I started doing fitness related rewards for every 10 lb lost, but that quickly lost its luster for me because I do mostly walking, hiking, jogging, not a lot of fitness stuff. I got a fancy jump rope, basketball, and some workout clothes.
For 199 lb (which I hadn't seen since jr. high), I bought myself ALL new makeup including some "fancy" brands I hadn't tried before, and a lucite organizer to keep all of it in. I bought it about a month in advance and didn't allow myself to start using any of it until the day I hit 199, but actually I think I hit 198.4 so that was a little amusing. It was exciting though and I am very glad I rewarded myself that way!
Now that I've pretty much hit my goal range (160-175) and have been maintaining for the past several years, it's not really a thing for me. I do enjoy new challenges like running/jogging a 5k or hiking a more difficult trail with climbing involved (new interest) but I don't really do rewards for those things, either.
I tend to reward myself for professional accomplishments, although my career isn't terribly exciting or challenging so it's more like buying a nice handbag or great boots when I get my annual bonus...treating myself to a concert now & then and feeling zero guilt about it...stuff like that.5 -

At the moment I'm unemployed and time-poor to boot so I don't really have any means of rewarding myself. However, once I'm finished the course I'm doing, I have to find a job, pay off my computer (which I needed for the course), and pay this tax year's student loan repayments. That is all several months away, which is enough time to lose several kilos and once I smash all those things off my list, I'm doing a big fashionnova shop3

^^ so this. I have spent the funds I used to spend on Fast Food buying $5.00 sweaters and pants at Walmart off the discount racks. I never run out of clothes that fit. I did have a reward idea for when I hit half my highest weight - (did that in October) - I was going to get permanent cosmetics - tattooed eyeliner - but, I haven't gotten around to that, yet - and I have spent the money I need to do it on Personal Training sessions. Maybe I will get the eyeliner when I get to my final goal... If I ever decide what that will be.
I figure anything below 140 is going to be just peachy.... 45 pounds to go.1 -

Swimsuits/athletic clothing. I have purchased a couple of swimsuits in the last couple of months and will likely buy more before I reach my goal. I enjoy trying them on every now and again and looking better and better. Hoping to be fairly happy with my body by the first day of summer.4

When I get in the 180’s I’m going to get my hair done. The ends are awful now and it needs colored really bad but in order to motivate myself, I’m forcing myself to wait. After that we are going on vacation in July where they have an outlet mall. If I get to the 170’s, I’m going to buy myself 2 outfits. I don’t really reward with food because if I want something and it fits in my calories, I usually just eat it.5

Clothes and shoes. Once I did perfume and repairware facial cream. Mainly clothes though. I try to Not reward myself with food, I do sometimes though.
I have one goal left and it's been a real battle. I have 6 more pounds to lose and I don't think I've lost any in a month or so. But right now, building muscle is more important to me than those 6 pounds. I'm also training to run a 10K and a Mini Marathon. Just completed my first 5K this past Saturday.2 -
Once I hit the 50 lb loss mark, I may treat myself to something...... new clothes or something. I have been buying new clothes with every 20 lb loss. Not a lot, as I am still losing. And some of my larger clothes still fit well. At this point, any shirts I buy will still fit when I hit my ultimate goal. They might just be a tad big.
But ultimately, it's the 60 lb mark that has my first big treat. Once I hit 155 lbs, I am getting my hair done. Some layers, lots of color, I'm excited! I have 15 more lbs to go for that one.
When I hit my ultimate goal, I'm thinking a Spa weekend. That will be at 140 lbs. I know it's only 15 lbs from the hair goal, but I know that last 15 lbs will be HELL to get off...... So it should be rewarded with Spa Weekend Fun.5 -
I give myself a small reward every 10 lbs, not food related. That I buy ahead of time and leave out to motivate me. I also take a pic as my lock screen for my phone of a bigger reward which I will do at 50 lbs, 75 lbs and 100 lbs. So I wanted a tea cup for myself and decided that was my first reward. I left it out on the table to look at it to remind myself to keep working. My next goal is for 30 lbs lost (I forget what my first reward was) and it's a new under armour visor for the summer. It's sitting out on my table. 50 lb goal is a new pair of disney sneakers. My goal is 100 lbs and I have a pic of a dress I want to wear to a wedding as my lock screen in my phone.7

I am planning to reward myself with a full-on spa day once I drop 25 lbs - getting the works with one of my BFFs.
When I reach my final goal weight, I am getting another tattoo. A Hawaiian honu maybe with a plumeria design on its shell.
I have not decided on any other intermediate rewards, but they will likely be personal-care splurge related. I originally thought I would have clothes as rewards, but I will need certain things for work bc we have a dress code, and I need some nicer things for that anyway.
Maybe some new arrows for my archery hobby, or a better bow. Maybe a big Star Wars lego set (assuming I finish my Death Star).3 -
I make chainmaille jewelry and that stuff is expensive. So, I shall reward myself with some silver and gold to work with.1

So I set up a reward roster for every 10% that I lose. My first 10% is a pedicure, second is an hour massage, third is haircut with highlights and styling, fourth is buying a personal trainer for a month. 5th is a fancy date night with my husband where we go to an expensive restaurant and maybe a play of some sort. 6th is another massage and goal for me is a trip with my family to Orlando Florida. I had to think of things that are out of the norm for me to do so I actually view them As a reward otherwise they would not motivate me. I made this list when I was craving some crappy food and posted it to my fridge for a visual.5

Food! I have a cheat meal, or an allocated one, to 'celebrate' staying within my weekly calories each month. Often it stays within maintenance calories, though not necessarily. It's to teach myself balance and to allow myself a treat, within reason.6

I can't even imagine wearing some of the clothes I own (and love). New clothes is definitely *not* my issue.
A reward...I'd probably give myself a week at maintenance. And a night "out."2 -
For every day that I nail my mfp goals, I pay myself $5.00. That means I have to be in my calorie and macro zone and get my exercise in. That $5.00 used to pay for a Starbucks habit that I really wanted to quit, but now goes to me. I actually take $5.00 and put it in a little box. If I don’t meet my mfp goals I take $5.00 out, so that’s bad because then I’m down $10. That means that I pay myself up to $35 a week to lose weight. My weight loss goal isn’t big right now, but we all know that last 10lbs is hard!!! When I hit my goal I get to buy something with the money. I find myself fantasizing about what to buy and that motivates me.4

This is so me. I'm totally intrinsically motivated, so external rewards are not really necessary for me. I mean, if you want to give me a million bucks for reaching a milestone, I won't reject it, but I really only need that sense of deep personal satisfaction to keep me going. I love the "feeling" of a personal victory, so I give myself a quick mental "pat-pat" and then I'm on to the next challenge!
