That's interesting, I looked it up and it seems it depends if you're speaking continentally, geo-politically, geographically...The Caribbean is its own entity but some islands are considered part of North America, or South America, or Central America. So the Caribbean is North American in the same way people from Russia are Asian lol.

It's probably all that vinegar they use to cut the sauce so it's not as spicy.
Also, Tabasco sauce and coffee go well together. If you like hot sauce. It's like spicy coffee.
