The scale is now packed away for the move. I expect to weigh in again on Friday March 23rd.
Hopefully we will have found a home by then.
My road strategy includes quite a bit of tuna. I need to find some low calorie crunchy snacks for such a long road.
Whenever we are done driving each day, I hope to get in some yoga and build up energy for some cardio.

I've been thinking.. why I'm not getting the desired results.??!. And I think secretly I'm happy where I am on weighing scale :grimace:
because when I was 100kilo (220+ lbs.) I wished to be 80kilo. Now I am under 80kilo (currently 173lbs.) But then again this couldn't be the case... Because I am not happy with what I seen in pictures and mirror. And I still feel that fire burning inside me, which bought me till here.

I know what to do.... I will follow the diet 100% . (No cheat meals or anything.) I got this clarity while typing this post.

Hope I will get the results I want soon. :innocent:

    Thank you guys.

crunchy snack: baby carrots (dipped in hummus? guacamole? salsa?).
beef jerky is another good road snack.

Good luck with the move. Hope you get to sightsee a little during the drive!

Have been on vacation & cruise for the past 1.5 weeks, and instead of doing maintenance I went super crazy and ate and drank like a binger. I can try to say it's because I was keeping up with the group I went with or that I wanted to get my money's worth of food and drink, but in the end I made the choice to choose food over my progress from the past few months, and am up 10lbs on return. Hoping some of that will fall off as I'm back on track starting today, so we will see how next weeks weigh in looks. On the positive had an amazing cruise, pretty sure I had more drinks in the past week than I have had in the past 5 years but tried to keep up with the younger sisters!

This week's successes: made it to yoga class!
This week's challenges: need to buy a new scale and eating healthy while on business travel....greater temptation when your job is paying for! Also makes me miss my yoga classes and I hate that! I've grown from pushing myself to go, to missing it because of work. So I'm going to say that is growth!
Well at least I'm being honest!

    This week: 76.6kgs
    This week: Loss .5kg
    Total loss for March .5kgs
    YTD loss: 2.4kgs

Last weeks success: Finding on low carb that my hunger is under control.
Last weeks challenges: Went away for the weekend. Managed to keep up the good work without too much diversion.
I'm finding that my weight isn't changing much but every pair on pants I put on is a little looser. I'm sure the scales will catch up soon.

Do you notice as you get older, one doesn't get those dramatic weight losses that were so easy when we were young? :)

@dembkogirl You will drop a lot of the cruise weight quickly. I love cruising. We go 2-3 each year and I always gain. I have 236 days to wait till our next cruise.

This week's challenges: I can't manage to eat enough protein. Even with a scoop of protein powder in my smoothies I still only get about 50% of what I need. I love veggies and salads and I get STUFFED eating meat.

Well obviously I made a typo in the above post. Weight lost should be 33 pounds not 3 pounds. I am fairly new to MFP and not terribly computer literate. How does one update this post each week. And is there a way to edit as in the case of my typo.

that's what I hope, I love cruises and normally gain a couple pounds on them but can lose them, but this one I went way overboard. a few pounds of it was gone this morning though :) Next cruise is in June, but my kiddos are coming on this one so won't get to indulge in drinks like I did with the last one! Where are you going on your next one, we are doing eastern Caribbean this time. Want to do an Alaskan one but need to save up for next year for it!

@dembkogirl we are doing the Halloween (so much fun!) western Caribbean and then the Panama canal a month later. After that we are doing a transatlantic and then the Geek Islands. Wish they had another transatlantic back home. It is so much more fun after the weight loss.

Hello guys, I am back home a little heavier than when I left. :s:s:s Had to brave the weather to go to the gym today. Did 60 mins of water aerobics and 20 mins on the treadmill.. My plan is to meet my goal within the next 6 months.

@Jimb376mfp - You got this! Go back to basics and working the plan to get to goal. Go to a meeting or two and get the stuff that is sabotaging you out of the house. Maybe get some more laps in?
