I've done a few winter hikes this year in the white mountains in NH, but I prefer warmer days for hiking!
5k this morning. 1.35 miles until the edge of Farmer Maggot's field. Hopefully getting there tomorrow.

New milestone reached! Now 4.76 miles to Henneth Annûn
That's going to be cracked tomorrow and then on to the next!3 -
Snow, rain and errands. Drug through the neighborhood on several walks by two excitable dogs; I should probably rename them Merry and Pippin.

We've done a few winter hikes as well @Eire228 its so hard to stay out for a full day when its this cold though! most of our hikes got moved into two hour walks lol2 -

Hi everyone. I'm doing a "Walk to Mordor" also; but, I'm not using the app. I'm using another site for tracking (see NerdFitness).
I'm going to watch this thread, too and try to give updates as I progress.
The NerdFitness tracking sheet only gives a few milestones in the walk; so, my updates will be different than what the app shows.
Here goes:- Total Miles so far: 394 miles
- Daily Pace: 5.97 miles
- Distance to Rivendell: 64 miles
- Distance to Mordor: 1385 miles
- Distance back to Hobbiton: 3010 miles
According to the milestones at The Eowyn Challenge, I'm near the "Stone Trolls," a remnant from Bilbo's journey in the hobbit.3 -
