Lose 5lbs + in March 2018

I weigh in everyday, but I only focus on averages, (snip)
Lbs lost in March: 3.9 lbs to date.
I do this too. I find it gives a much more accurate picture than just weighing once per week. Weight can fluctuate from day to day, but averaging shows the trend.
For me it is a huge motivator when loss is very slow. If the daily weight isn't moving much, or if is up and down, the average will show overall loss even if it is just a little during a plateau.

Happy Sunday, everyone!
So happy to return to Daylight Saving Time. Getting home from work with daylight to spare, gets me outside more.
No new daily low this week, but a new low average of 205 makes me happy.
Soon I will need new jeans, mine now fall down without a belt. I can tuck in my shirts again. I do still have a spare tire... but it's a donut now, not a tractor tire! No more muffin-top.
I tried on some clothes I haven't fit into for some years and they fit again. Now I wish I hadn't given away some other clothes I thought I would never be able to wear again. At some point I will have to buy some new clothes.
I am still not thin. I will probably never be thin, but I am definitely in better shape. My skin isn't dry anymore either, which is an unexpected bonus.
I am more mobile. It is easier to bend and stretch. I have less pain. I just feel better overall. These are things I remind myself of when the numbers are moving more slowly than I would like.
I had originally hoped to be close to my goal of 180 by now. I am just over halfway from when I started in earnest at Christmas 2016. It might take another year to get there. I am OK with that. I am moving forward, not backward.

At least I am back to where I was before I went away for February vacation (.4 above but much better than 5 up). I need to get 100% focused to get to my goal. The one satisfaction that I have to look forward to is my yearly check-in with my doctor and the look on his face when he sees I’m down 54 pounds since last year (I’ve only been going to him for 3.5 years-he’s my obgyn and last year he told me I should think about doing something to lose weight...). I knew I did but I had to do it when I was ready or it wasn’t going to work.5 -

I had a good workout week. I wasn’t feeling so well towards the end of the week but after having BCAA on Saturday and Sunday, I feel better. I’m guessing I was a little run down. I didn’t set my goal for March correctly. It’s 184.6. I’m .6 away.2 -

I definitely feel plumper when I eat an English muffin rather than a sweet potato serving of equal calories, for example. I bought some yesterday to change up breakfast and have one with tomatoes for lunch and again this morning for breakfast. I can feel the bloat.

Good job, Jenn. Nice progression...I'm in a similar situation when it comes to needing a new wardrobe. It feels good to tuck in my jeans without the protruding "spare-tire"...Doesn't matter when we get there, as long as we GET THERE!2 -
hopefully I'm doing this right..!
I've lost weight but am now just starting this week to track food & actually work out so hopefully it won't stay at a 0.8lb loss each week! (My loss of 20lbs was mostly from giving up soda....WILD.)
