That's great but not sure the laxitive effects of coffee are a secret, and it won't help you lose fat, just weight from the bowel movements you weren't having before.11

I'm glad you like it and it helps keep you regular.
It doesn't help weight loss and it isn't a secret that it helps you poop so the title is misleading.7 -

I think we can cut OP some slack here, she indicated "My" secret key, and I think it's fairly obvious she meant secret key as not literal but more an expression. She was mentioning the regularity as an added benefit she's discovered.
I too find it helpful. It doesn't cause weightless itself but definitely works for appetite suppression and keeping boredom/snacking cravings at bay.15 -
Wish it still helped me1

Honestly, I get it. I'm sure OP knows it's not making her lose fat. As someone who isn't regular, it's stressful trying to lose weight when you can't go for 5-6 days.13

I haven't read through all the posts on coffee... but my understanding is the majority of the research says black coffee or caffeine has a small impact on metabolism, and thus aids weight loss. Pretty much every OTC diet pill includes caffeine as an ingredient.

Caffeine Induced Dump (CID) as my family have called it lol. Does indeed help keep regular. The caffeine probably excites the intestines first, allowing them to get to working.
Any stimulant should offer weight loss aid. Caffeine being one of them. So long as the extra activity your body does is more than the calories taken in with the caffeine (soda wont work, sorry) you're golden.
Just please stick to relatively harmless and legal stimulants.1 -
I've heard that green tea is also beneficial for weight loss, but I really can't see how? Yes it's got caffeine and some phytochemicals, but I'm not sure I buy the hype. What do other people here think of it as a weight loss aid?2

For anyone not dulled to caffeine, more caffeine will help in the long run. People hyped up will typically move more, be fidgety, etc. This increases NEAT (Non-Exercise Activity Thermogensis). If green tea makes me slightly more hyper and I shake my leg while at my desk... that is extra calories burned. A soda will do this too... but the soda has WAY more calories than I'd ever burn shaking my leg lmao.1 -

It might be the creamer if it is the liquid one. As much as I love it, I stay away from it because of the "effects". Sorry TMI. LOL.1 -
