I am still learning how to upload photos but here is the starting photo when i was topping the scale at 235 in September of 2016. I lost most of the weight in the first year and have been working on the last 10 or so pounds for the last few months. I am happy where I am and love seeing the progress in my body in and out. My blood pressure is in control. I have energy to keep up with my kids and I can do 30 real push ups every morning. I have learned that in order to succeed I had to take small steps that I knew I could maintain forever. I do not deprive of myself of anything however I make sure that the majority of my diet comes from whole foods and then when I want I take small servings of the stuff I crave which isn't too often. I do workout 6 days a week but for me exercise is about health and not weight. I decided yo post here to motivate me further and hope to put an update up in a year. For all those just starting out, just remember that time passes no matter what you decide to do. I felt like I would never see the day that is was 10 pounds to goal. It felt impossible however that time flew and before I knew it a year and a half went by and I was 70 pounds lighter.54 -

My goal is between 150 and 155. I am in no rush to get there. I find I have been able to feel more satisfied with a small deficit. If it takes me another year to lose 10 pounds I would still be very happy. Great job on your weight loss!!5 -
