Either companies are SERIOUSLY running out of inspiration for new flavors or this is some bad April Fool's prank released early to get our email addresses and sign us up for their mailing list... if the former, then they should come to this forum for some delicious ideas.... if the latter, then that's pretty deceptive and sort of makes me not like either company...

Not sure if you live near a Shoprite (or if they all have the same sales), but my Shoprite store is having Talenti, Ben & Jerry's, and Enlightened on sale starting Friday 5 for $1.99 each! I'm PRAYING I'll be able to find some of the new flavors!!!0 -

It says only the pints, the bars never really seem to go on sale around here too often (or if they do I guess I don’t notice)0 -

My Shop Rite has the lower calorie Talenti, just the mint one and the vanilla cinnamon one... I might try those at that price. None of the new B&J flavors yet unfortunately, that's the ones I'm really looking for!1 -
Lots of colorful ice cream: Jeni's Supermoon - blue violet and vanilla marshmallow ice cream, and A La Mode (I've never seen this brand before) Partly Cloudy - cotton candy ice cream with marshmallows, and Pink Sprinkle - pink vanilla ice cream with sprinkles.
Jeni's Supermoon - I couldn't taste any marshmallow flavor in the marshmallow section, but I definitely tasted the floral violet flavor. A bit stronger floral flavor than I'd prefer, so it overwhelmed the marshmallow ice cream a bit. I've never had a bad flavor of Jeni's though, and although this wasn't my favorite, it was still decent.
A La Mode Partly Cloudy- The cotton candy flavor was up front in the first bite, though it mellowed out into a more vanilla type flavor. This is one of those flavors where you need to take breaks while eating it, as the more you eat it, the less it tastes like the flavor it's supposed to be. There were mini pieces of marshmallows which complemented the ice cream nicely.
A La Mode Pink Sprinkle- I'm not sure why this ice cream had to be pink. It's a pure, but solid, vanilla ice cream, so the color doesn't add anything except to how it looks. The sprinkles are fine, but nothing really special about this flavor.

It's a shame Jeni's Supermoon flavor wasn't better, it looks and sound incredible! I can't find Jeni's too easily around my house but I remember hearing they had a sweet potato and torched marshmallow flavor at some point... I REALLY wanted to try it!!! If it comes back later this year I might have to make a road trip devoted to finding it..
Shoprite and Safeway sell those A La Mode ice creams, although I've never seen the smaller containers of them that's so cute! I'll have to keep an eye out because I bought their Partly Cloudy pint twice and both occasions I finished the entire thing in one sitting. Not sure how the ratio is in the smaller container, but it had A LOT of marshmallows in the pint! I like how the base tastes exactly like Cold Stone Creamery's cotton candy flavor, and when I broke down the servings per gram it has the same calories... go figure!1 -

Sweet potato and torched marshmallow sounds awesome, I haven't seen that flavor in the stores near me. The small A La Mode containers are great for portion control! They came four to a box (so basically a pint total split up into four containers) and I found them in the ice cream pops section. The small container did have lots of marshmallows too, though they ended up all in the bottom of the container (at least the first one, haven't had the rest yet).2 -
Oh goodness they all sound good I have no clue which one to try first... I think vanilla would make sense since it’s sort of the base flavor that’s easy to compare across companies, but my mother was a lot more sensitive to the sweeteners used in Halo Top (she can’t stand their mint) and since mint is her favorite flavor ice cream (and she’s also going to be here tonight) I’m thinking I might go with that one... I’m really hoping Arctic Zero pulled this off!!!!

Arctic Zero’s new light ice creams will definitely win over A LOT of people. My mother and father both can’t stand Halo Top (my mother a lot more so than my father) yet both adore this. Personally, I’m more indifferent, but only because mint chocolate chip is normally my least favorite ice cream flavor so I won’t be able to tell really what I think until I try a different flavor. The chocolate “cookies” pieces are noticeable in some parts, but the majority of spoonfuls seem to be chocolate chips (which are good, I’m just not a chocolate chip person). Nothing tastes fake and the texture is actually a lot like real ice cream. It’s not as dense as Enlightened (no thawing needed), but it was creamier than Halo Top. It doesn’t feel premium like Ben & Jerry’s or Haagen Dazs, but it doesn’t feel cheap like Breyer’s. It’s somewhere in the middle with Turkey Hill. If I was blindfolded I’d assume it was regular ice cream, which isn’t as sweet and lacks that erythritol flavor I’ve apparently grown to adore, because I really miss it the more I eat this. It gets boring without it. That being said, my parents keep coming upstairs for more spoonfuls, so it’s a hit.
Pros: It tastes like real ice cream, perfect amount of chocolate chips to ice cream ratio, and lack of artificial sweeteners will win a lot of people. Personally, the only thing I like about mint ice cream is the green hue, so I’m really glad they didn’t take this away from me here like Breyer’s.
Cons: Since they use real sugar, the macros aren’t as good as Halo Top or Enlightened (more carbs, less protein and less calcium). This will only bother people who watch their macros.
Would I buy it again? If this was their only new flavor, yes, if it was on sale. I’d buy it for my parents more than anything. The other flavors will be more of my wallet’s downfall.
Also tried Luvo’s Hawaiian Un-Fried Rice bowl which I’ve been wanting to try. I didn’t care for it at all, sort of bland and weird texture. Also weighed like twice what the label stated, pushing it towards 500-600 calories opposed to 360.

I thought I’d love the peanut butter & chocolate cookies the most, but surprisingly, I liked the mint more than this one. The texture is perfect and like regular ice cream again, but the flavor is even more subtle than in Halo Top’s peanut butter pint. I wish they would have included chunks of peanut butter like Enlightened, this doesn’t satisfy my peanut butter craving at all and the more I eat it the less peanut butter I taste and it’s not even that sweet. The chocolate cookies are plentiful but don’t do much for this pint, it’s a shame they didn’t use peanut butter cookies instead. As a light ice cream it isn’t bad, but you could probably find a light peanut butter store brand ice cream that’s just as satisfying without spending as much. I won’t buy this again. Looks a lot more exciting than it tastes.

NO Keep posting I like free stuff!!!! Maybe I’m wrong but I always thought “Woo” implied like a cheering noise out of excitement :P it’s not booing, it’s wooing, the happier version!4 -
It isn't new, but I went to my closest Trader Joe's today (by closest, I mean close to 20 miles away) and bought the green tea matcha vegan ice cream mochi bites. 65 calories as a apiece and so good!2

So I finally tried these and was actually surprised since they tasted way better than they looked. I usually hate miracle noodles but these were not slimy at all and they actually would break when you bite them. I know that sound weird but one of the things I hated was I felt like I couldn’t chew miracle noodles and had to swallow them. These were actually chewable. The sauce was terrible though and it seemed like there was no marinara at all. I ended up adding my own sauce and then it was pretty good. I still prefer the thin slim low calorie noodles though. I may buy again.

Usually I don’t post from my phone but I did this time so ignore the random black squiggle lol. I accidentally drew it and couldn’t get it off after I posted. Also tried these. The cinnamon snickerdoodle was good with a nice cinnamon base but I wouldn’t call it snickerdoodle. More like cinnamon almond. The chocolate was pretty good but neither were anything amazing and I probably wouldn’t buy again, they were very small.
They sure don’t look like the picture on the box lol

Bought peach cheerios today. Anyone try them yet?3

I love Quest bars, well at least those flavors, but I always microwave them for 15 seconds. Yum. I like the Quest chips a lot too, but I didn't like the BBQ ones as much as the other ones (haven't tried the salt and vinegar ones).redversustheblue wrote: »Man I love quest bars, cookies and cream is one of my faves. Smores in my new quest bar love though.
I've scrolled through and seen a few people here saying that they like them, and all of the reviews I read said they were delicious which is why I didn't hesitate to buy TWO BOXES lol. But now I'm thinking that all the people who really like them seem to be American which explains a lot, because I've heard on average, the food over there is a lot sweeter than here, bread and savoury food included. Which is maybe why I find them so sickly sweet. Despite that though I'm open to trying other flavours because of how nutritional they are. So any suggestions?
I like the Quest Protein powder better than the bars. I like microwaving the bars for a few seconds or crumbling part of one in a shake.
My favorite new product is Sports Research hydrolized collagen powder, unflavored.1 -
@Noreenmarie1234 how many calories were in those Kashi bars? They look so good! Also, thanks for reviewing those noodles, I've been contemplating them each time I pass them in Walmart so I guess I'll be picking some up now!
I tried Monster's newish coffee drink today (Salted Caramel) and I loved it. 180 Calories for the bottle so a lot less sweet than those bottled frappuccinos Starbucks sells or Dunkin's bottled iced coffees. Although I normally like everything cloyingly sweet, I like when I can taste the coffee and not just a bunch of sugar in my drink, so I liked this a lot. It was very balanced, creamy, and had just enough saltiness to it to where I couldn't stop drinking it. I wasn't jittery after drinking it, but I was alert (albeit an hour later I had another coffee so it faded pretty quick). I'll definitely buy this again, but for the flavor not so much the caffeine strength.
Also tried Arctic Zero's Cookies & Cream pint. Surprisingly I think the Mint was better still since it had a more upfront flavor, but this was improvement from the Peanut Butter & Chocolate Cookies pint I had last night. At first the vanilla base tasted like the base in their Vanilla Maple 150 calorie pint (aka very bland), but as I got down it got a lot better with the cookie pieces. Thankfully, there weren't just pieces of the chocolate cookies but pieces of the CREAM which has always been my favorite part of a cookies & cream flavor (cream > cookie every time). The cream sort of blends in so I can't tell when it's there, but when it is I REALLY like it, and there's plenty of them the further down you go. It also gets sweeter the further down you go.
If this was on sale again I would definitely buy one or two more pints, but it's not a flavor worth stocking up on. The macros aren't great and it's a little high in calories for me considering the bland vanilla base. If the vanilla had been a tad bit sweeter it would've won me over, or maybe if they used a sweet cream base instead of vanilla. Still, the cream chunks are wonderful even if they aren't really distributed too well (or maybe I just got a bad pint with them all sunken down further). It's a shame they didn't make a mint cookies & cream version adding the cream pieces to the mint instead of so many chocolate chips... that would've been incredible.

It’s a Walmart miracle, I found both o///o

Walmart for the win lol. You have to tell how those lean pockets are! I am a huge fan of pretzel bread and pretzels in general. I will probably try one of the other flavors of the noodles now that I know the texture is so much better than when I make them. Kashi bars had 150 calories and were smaller than a clif z bar so a little too small for my liking.1 -

150 calories isn't too bad, I was expecting closer to 200 with how delicious they looked! I would try the lean pockets tonight if it weren't for my mother cooking a holiday dinner for us tonight, but I'll probably try them tomorrow or the next day. As for the noodles, I only noticed the angel hair and pad thai, does your Walmart sell more varieties? I picked up both after your review, I have lower standards since I can handle regular shirataki noodles so I'm really hoping these blow me away! xD
Happy Easter everyone by the way! I know I'll probably hit a nerve with this one, but the only thing that could make this day better is if Halo Top released a Peeps seasonal flavor ice cream3 -
10/10 the best flavor out of the bunch without a doubt. Arctic Zero’s Toffee crunch is something I’ll be buying like crazy. There’s PLENTY of toffee, and it’s so sweet!!!! It reminds me of a mix between baklava and toffee. It’s so buttery and crunchy. The base is sweet, too, not at all bland like some of the others. This is a MUST try. I don’t even know what to say... it’s perfect. The pieces of toffee are everywhere.
It won’t let me upload a photo for some reason but it’s insane looking.11 -
100% whole wheat sweet potato and brown sugar sun chips!!! omg soooooo good!! and idk if it's "New but.. Justin's dark chocolate peanut butter cups!! halo top ice cream any flavor is bomb!!!4

Organic bone broth. Never tried it, but I've heard all sorts of benefits that can come from it.5

I've been on maintenance for nearly four years (after losing 65/70 lbs total) a while back. I've been dairy free (because my wife is allergic to it) for two years. I don't eat ice cream much any more because the non-dairy alternatives were (up till now) pretty nasty, to be honest.
Haagen Dazs just introduced four non-dairy flavors. OMG they taste like real ice cream (sorry So Delicious, Ben & Jerry's, Kroger, Nada Mo and the many more pretenders, this is so, so good!). Peanut Butter Chocolate, Mocha Cookie, Coconut Caramel and Sea Salt Chocolate Fudge Truffle. If I continue to eat as much non dairy ice cream as I did this week, I might have to log again soon (I'll be over my "red line").5 -

I love HD's non dairy peanut butter chocolate fudge and salted chocolate fudge truffle flavors! Out of all of the new ice cream flavors I've tried recently (regular included), these are the first ones that I've bought repeats of so far. If you're looking for other non-dairy recommendations, Talenti has a couple of pretty good ones as well. Their peanut butter fudge sorbetto is very similar in taste to HD's peanut butter chocolate fudge, and is one of my favorites. Their cold brew coffee sorbetto is also delicious, as is their chocolate sorbetto. Texturally lighter than HD as they're replicating a gelato texture.5
