    42. Started really getting back at it 7 months ago. Eating right has made a huge difference for me. Would like support/training tips from other middle agers as well!

    I am 49... still in denial of my age.. I don't think I have grown up mentally.. so I am searching for my body and mind to work happily together .. I would love new friends to support and get motivation from.:)

    I'm 48..... new to fitnesspal. goal to lose 17lbs before summer time. diet will reduce carbs to 25% of my total calorie intake. also decreasing total calorie intake as well as increasing exercise (weight lifting).

    Well, my personal struggle right now is sticking to a reasonable eating plan. I'm active most days of the week and have had some weight loss success with weight watchers (last year), but do not like their new plan and the meetings were feeling pretty stale for me. I do believe that it just gets tougher and tougher to maintain the older we get....

    What kind of training are you doing? Cardio? Weights??
