Egg and cheese on half of a croissant. My husband brought these croissants home last night, darn him! These are 220 cal, so I only used half to go with my egg and cheese. It reminded me of why I love croissants, since I don't eat them very often.2

although i'm super pumped for tomorrow's breakfast with ground beef and 4 WHOLE eggs and cheese. i've missed that yolky goodness and not having to eat a piss poor ratio of egg whites to whole egg has me way more excited than it should haha1 -

Just had a homemade 1/4 lb hamburger. It was delicious. My family has declared Friday 'hamburger night'.

Last night, I cut up an apple. Tossed the pieces into a hot pan, and after a few minutes, added about half a cup of water and some cinnamon, ginger and pepper. Also 2 pitted dates. The water reduced to almost nothing, and I stored the flavored apple bits in a container for breakfast this morning, along with a pancake made from whole wheat flour, oats and chocolate. It came out very, very nicely.1

Spinach and feta chicken burger on a toasted bun with caramelized onions and bbq sauce with bacon wrapped asparagus on the side. It was delicious!1

It's the end of the week and I need to go the grocery store, so I had to throw together lunch from this and that:
Open-faced English muffin sandwich, spread with this amazing, spicy yellow lentil hummus, with sliced hard-boiled egg, all topped with a few forkfuls of sweet and sour red cabbage. (All deadly "processed" convenience foods, except the egg, which I boiled myself last night. Yesterday the best thing I ate might have been the still warm hard-boiled egg that I ate to test whether they were done.)0 -
