Anyone trying this!?! i'm on my 2nd day feels great, but hard to be patient until food time.. just adjusting to it but feel good!! breakfast (10:00am) Lunch (3:00pm) dinner (8:00pm) anyone doing this with good results happening!? i'm doing this cause i don't wanna spike insulin all day! also do you count cals or just eat until full!?

If it helps you maintain a caloric deficit go for it, but you could wipe out a week's worth of moderation on the days that start with S if you're not careful... honestly you should track calories anyway. Because it doesn't let you have treats during the week the likelihood of overdoing it on the weekend is high if you don't track.9

I was doing this without realizing that it was a thing. I give myself a treat on Sunday every week and sometimes Saturday. Sometimes I have ice cream or some candy sometimes I eat something greasy and full of fat and carbs. It keeps me reminded that I can still eat "bad food" but only on occasion. It works for me. Lost 20lbs in less than 2 months. I feel great too.15

I learned something a very long time ago. Any way of eating that has a name is doomed to failure.
But sure, try it, maybe learn a few things from it, and move on to the next thing. Sustainable changes aren't usually about broad sweeping measures and hard and fast rules. They're incremental, thought out, and customized to suit our individual needs and preferences.28 -
Why are you so hung up on insulin spikes?
If you think you are insulin resistant, make a doctor appt and find out for sure.
Otherwise, get a food scale, start logging accurately and consistently, and reach your goals.40 -

To the OP: I realize some of this is fun at your expense. Perhaps too much. But also understand that there are so many fads out there that distract people from the basics. The basics will get you 95% of where you want to go. There are no panaceas. Just do what @kimny72 suggests. Think long-term and find something you want to stick with, not put up with.11 -

I'm in a plateau , been stuck for a month no budging?!!! my body got so use to it and i have been exercising 5-6 days a week for a hr a day ,and doing WT 2-4 days a week for 30-40 mins and drinking nothing but water and unsweetened tea and coffeee with only 50 cals of creamer in it... eating average of 16-1800 cals daily , it keeps balancing up and down , i need to shock my body and get it moving again, i'm on my last 15-20 pounds to lose and it's a b$tch... what do or would you suggest if it were you !?45 -

This is how I eat regularly. I don't do it on purpose it just happens. I may go 6 or 7 hours between lunch and dinner because of my work schedule. Do what works for you and your lifestyle. If you are properly nourished and feel satisfied then you are doing fine.3 -

There is no such thing as "shocking" your body into losing more weight, and it makes no difference what you're drinking as long as you're within your calorie budget.
There is a big difference between 1600 and 1800 calories for many people, especially when they're close to their goal weight. This variation could easily take you out of a calorie deficit. What number of calories does MFP give you for a day? Eat that number of calories consistently each day.27 -

MFP gives me 1610 a day to lose a pound a week... then i exercise and it sometimes throws 300-400 exercise cals back on the board to eat back.... i don't always eat them back sometimes i'm full and don't eat any back after that day... so that would give me around what up to 1000 cals of exercise alone to eat back for that week if not more, so that's when i throw in those additional cals in on some days cause i have all that extra .. is that right to do or wrong!?0 -

How are you calculating your exercise calories? If you're using estimates from the MFP database or gym equipment, those tend to be very high.
Are you weighing all of your food? With so little left to lose, many people find that it's crucial to weigh *everything*. Your deficit is very small when you don't have much to lose, and so only a few errors here and there can negate a week's deficit. Yes, it can be very tedious, but many of us find that this is how we manage to lose the last little bit of weight.
Also, it took me a really, really long time to lose the last 15 pounds. I frequently went a month or more with no change on the scale, and then I'd see a couple pound decrease all at once. If you've lost over 100 pounds so far, then you have the skills you need. You just need to be consistent and patient.15 -

Patience, persistence and accuracy. You have no room for error at this point, and even a 1lb/week might be getting into unrealistic territory. The last 15lbs is going to come off slow unless you decide to do something unhealthy, that's just how it is. So yeah, be patient, be persistent, be accurate.

Have you read the replies in any of your other threads? Have you considered any of the very simple questions they've asked and tips that have already been suggested?
1 - Are you using a food scale? If not, doing so would be the best place to start.
2 - Are you willing to open your diary? Fresh eyes can often catch common logging errors you might not be aware of.
3 - Is your exercise schedule new? New, intense exercise can cause water weight fluctuations.
4 - Have you taken a diet break? Weight loss can be stressful on the body and cause hormone fluctuations that a diet break can help.
Take a deep breathe, stop bouncing around from one fad theory to the next, and really read the responses you've gotten in your threads. The answers are already there.22 -

Less than a week ago you posted you had lost weight after drinking morning coffee "Your weight loss secret" as you referred to it, so if you lost some weight last week, you haven't really stalled have you?30

I feel a little guilty because I think I'm the one who mentioned The No S Diet in one of your other threads. Double guilty because people seem to think of it as a fad, when it's nothing more than a normal, traditional eating pattern. And I honestly didn't think it was possible to get it so totally and completely wrong.
Eating regular meals should help you stick to an appropriate calorie target, because eating at meals and only at meals, and no seconds, for most people means not overeating. You can still count calories, and if you struggle with weight/portion control, it's probably a good idea, at least in the beginning, until you get a better understanding of what normal portions look like.
What "results" are you referring to? Are you measuring your blood glucose through the day?
You don't "shock" your body into weightloss. The last pounds are slow, so you need patience and accuracy, and if you're eating back exercise calories, you're probably overestimating too.15
