How many calories do you eat a day?

To maintain my usual weight, usually 1300-2200 a day, averaging over the long-term in the 1700's. (I gain at that average though if I become very sedentary. I likely need to stick to a 1500 calorie average during my extreme sloth phases.)
To lose, averaging out in the 1300's for the week gives me a loss of about 3 pounds a month.
I'm very short.0 -
The tracker has my goal at 1840 which is really low for me since I’m very active, I’m female 5’11.5” and about 149. I average closer to 2000.0

I'm tracking less than 1000 but still gaining - too low for me to close my diary, ah well a problem I'm having to work though.

360g protein? For what?
Not sure how clean calories make any difference to dirty ones. Also not sure why you'd need a cheat meal eating 4-4.5k calories a day as you'd pretty much fit in anything and still meet your nutritional needs.
My calories... Not enough. Urgh.12 -
My base to lose 1/2 lb per week is 1400 before exercise. However, I generally get 2-3 hours of exercise daily (I shoot for a 2-hour walk. Three days a week, I strength train) and I eat back half of those exercise calories. So, for example, today I had slightly over 1800 (2 hour 35 minute walk, 50 minute upper body dumbbell workout, plus 5 minutes warm-up... It adds up to more calories.)1

Hey I’m looking at 1800 but with walking at work Fitbit adds at least 500 a day. I’ve still only on average eating 1500-1700.
It’s my first week so we shall see what I’ll loose this week1 -
Currently bulking at 3325 calories.6

My average TDEE is around 2300 (7 day average).
I try to stay below that (1800 being the lowest I'm willing to go or I gnaw off my arm)1 -
5'11 male. I'm eating 1700 net calories per day (2200ish is maint).1

I try to eat about (or under) 1,400 calories a day. Have lost ALMOST 45lbs since the beginning of the year.
It's amazing that by simply looking at the foods you eat, there are so many calories you can cut. Try light mayonnaise, light bread, instead of regular or sugar free jello or low calorie fudge bars instead of that bowl of icecream. I agree that there are a lot of "light" foods that don't taste great, but there are many that you wouldn't even know the difference. Just something that has helped me. Good luck!10 -
About 1500-1600.
5’7 woman, 12 st 3ish (it’s hard to tell as I’m currently gaining weight for TOM). Losing possibly around 1.5 lb per week (see previous about it being hard to tell ), which is a bit faster than intended, oops.0 -
maintaining on 2700-3100cal (I carb cycle) - female, 5'3", 159lbs, endurance athlete - training just starting to ramp up again, so food intake will increase in the near future0

Female, 42, 5'5", 195 lbs, exercise about 3 times a week.
After reading that, I may bump the calories up and the rate of loss down.0 -

I try to stay under 1300. Some days are not as good:( Currently trying to loose. If I know I'm going out to dinner or going to have a drink or 2 that night I try to increase my cardio to "earn it".0

My fitness pal suggests I eat 1400 calories per day to lose 1/2 lb a week. I am super strict on measuring and use a scale for everything. After one month, I have lost 1 lb. I am always hungry too. Pretty discouraging.0
