I'd love to jump in too, please. I'm 5"1, and losing 100lbs would bring me low on the normal BMI. Realistically I'd be happy with about 80lbs, which is what I need to get comfortably into the normal range. I'm going to shoot for the whole 100lbs, though I doubt I can do it in a year.
I've been through the whole lose weight/gain weight cycle twice before; made it to 136 about 10 years ago before I gained it back and more. This time I'm determined to do it properly, to get to goal and work at maintaining.

I'm right there with everyone! Looking to hit that 100 for a better, healthier version of myself! Here's my stats, I'm always looking for new friends/motivators/supporters who are in the same boat as I am, please feel free to request me!

Ultimate Goal Weight (range) : 140-150 lbs3 -
Starting weight=250.4lbs - Goal weight=150lbs, but I'd be happy somewhere around 170 (as shown in default pic). Mom bod has got to go. Right now I'm mainly trying to focus on adding healthier choices back into my diet, I cut out the soda/sugary drinks, added tons of water, and started logging calories. I've lost 50 lbs within 6 months before so 100 lbs in a year is definitely possible!! Hope all is going well for you6

I will weight in on Saturdays or Sundays.

Can we still join because I am totally in!5

@Courtney4805 the things having babies does to our bodies! I'm not usually too bad during pregnancy, but when I'm nursing my body holds on to every calorie. I'm just finished breastfeeding twin boys, and I gained 22lbs from what I weighed after they were born.

I haven't gained or lost anything this week. I had a couple drinks on Weds and I feel like my body is hanging onto some water bc I feel like I look different. So it's probably time to start tracking measurements as well. Carrying on and feeling good! My focus this week is to maintain (hopefully lose but won't be too hard on myself) and get consistent nightly sleep before I leave for vacation on Saturday.5 -

MaelynMayhem, I'm only doing weekly weigh ins for this challenge. The dailies on Give me 10 days challenge is enough.0 -
I am trying to lose 100 lbs over the next year+. I can't even believe I have that much to lose but there it is. I am 5ft tall and was weighed in at 240lbs last week at the Drs office. To be a healthy BMI I should be closer to 125lbs. I started officially Sunday 4/15/2018 - I am trying a primarily whole food plant based diet with the exception of some yogurt (probiotics suggested by my Dr.) I'm not sure what I'm doing really but I thought this group would help!6
-
Great progress this week, @tiabirdie56! You're so close to breaking through that 200 mark!
@MaelynMayhem, I think whatever keeps you most motivated is fine. I'm just including the most recent two so that I can see my recent progress plus a record of my total loss to date. My thinking is that this is a long haul and I don't want my posts to get clogged up.
@lexi3881 welcome! I know how you feel; starting, with so much work to do, is overwhelming. In my experience I am most successful when I figure out what my personal weak points are and work on those. For example, the meals I cook for my family are pretty healthy. I love snacks and treats, though. I've had to stop buying them cold turkey. You'll have it figured out in no time!2 -
I am 5'4" and began my journey at 221lbs... I am currently down to 205lbs and have increased my daily water intake. I still have another 60lbs to lose at least4

I'm joining in.
Hello everyone!
I am 40 years old, 5'9" tall and I currently weigh 308 lbs. My highest weight was 330 and I have lost 22lbs since August 2017. My biggest challenge is portion control because I grew up with a large family that served large portions. I didn't realize until recently that even though I cut down on my portion sizes, it's still too much. When you've never known proper portion sizes it is a bit of a wake up call when you see the difference. So, along with exercising I am now counting my caloric intake and meal prepping every week. This has truly been helping me to understand what and how much I am eating.
Thanks for having me here!3 -
Need knee replacements but when I saw doctor, he said i had to lose 150 pounds first. That was in January only lost 16 so far.3

Uodating early as I won't have access to a scale tmrw. Saw a 2lb loss this week, better than 0 last week! I missed my Vegas goal by 8 lbs but overall I'm doing well so won't sweat it. My goal this coming week is to maintain while on vacation. Keep it up everyone!2
