A discussion with my brother and sister last night made me curious. What was the first CD you owned? I do mean CD. Records, cassettes, 8-tracks don't count.

I'll start: Aerosmith - Greatest Hits

    HAHAHAHA!

The CD was WAY before my time but I was in love with the song, my step-mom suprised me with it one day.

    Toni Basil's "HEY MICKEY!"

"Oh Mickey your so fine, your so fine you blow my mind, HEY MICKEY!"

    LMAO... thanks for that!

Gosh I don't remember. This was probably *one* of my first. I used to sit in front of my big Kenwood stereo system and blast it, after working all summer as a bus boy to save up for it.

The lion King Had a pretty decent soundtrack. Elton John and Tim Rice make a great songwriting team.

Sadly, it was Backstreet Boys' self-titled album. It should have been something cool, like Abbey Road or Dark Side of the Moon.

    I blame my parents :-P

  • It was the "NO!" album from They Might Be Giants. My brother bought it for me. Specially formulated for the chronologically challenged community. All kids music, all the time.
