4/28: 107.7kg/237.4lbs – Great loss, still achey from yesterday’s run. Did go for pizza and a few beers so this probably could have been more!
4/29: 108.8kg/239.8lbs – Day off and it proved! 3 awful meal choice with lots of beer in-between, I am not bothered though as I had a cracking day!
4/30: 108.1kg/238.3lbs – Back on track, dragged my better half on a run this morning for the first time in forever! Nice little run at a conservative pace. Now to crack on and lose some more weight over the remaining 7 days!
5/01: 106.6kg/235.0lbs – Good golly gosh, this is a pleasant surprise! Managed the gym last night but had to make it more of a HIIT session as I had limited time. Was supposed to do 11km this morning but have pushed it back to tomorrow – Gym tonight with my brother, very excited indeed. SO far 62.6lbs lost!!

5/01 - 137.70 -0.30lb. Been a crazy few days and just didn't get round to weighing. But am pleased that now I have weighed I am down slightly from my starting weight so all in the right direction. Especially pleased as I didn't track my food over the weekend - used my common sense and did have a few treats but tried to stay in control - will count this as a success!!!

Nothing works unless you have a sustained calorie deficit over time. Anything will work if you have a sustained calorie deficit over time.
Motivation is overrated. What you need is education, willingness to eat less, a good plan, and discipline to stick to it.

4/28 - 164.0 - Well there's my goal weight in one day but I know this number won't stick around. Pretty sure my body is dehydrated this morning so I'm drinking lots of water today. Would love to keep this number but seeing it at the end of the 10 days will work for me if I do gain in tomorrows weigh in. I had a busy day yesterday and have a busy day ahead of me. Have to keep it healthy today.
4/29 - 165.4 - There's the gain I was expecting but it's not as bad as I thought it would be. I'm happy with where my weight is at this point in time, and I'm learning to be ok with what the numbers on the scale say and what the size of my clothes are because I see differences in the mirror when I look at myself and I'm proud of the hard work I've done this far to get me where I'm at. When I truly get down to yesterday's weight (164) I'll be exactly 10 pounds lighter than when I started my weight loss journey! Hoping to get there by the end of this 10 day challenge and then I'll celebrate (with something other than food or booze ... a nice swim suit for this summer maybe?!)
4/30 - 165.8 - Not liking this upward trend I'm on right now, need to kick my butt into high gear and start bringing it back down. Had an active day yesterday doing a lot of yardwork and I ate under calories so hoping it shows in tomorrows weigh in. Got lots of healthy snacks ready and lunches prepped for the week, goal weight here I come!
5/01 - 163.8 - What??!! Where did this come from? It's awesome if it sticks around and if it does I'll have to set a new goal for the last half of this challenge, if not I'll have one day of great excitement. Could not believe my eyes when I stepped on the scale this morning, weighed myself 3 different times. Super excited for today, it's supposed to be beautiful out and I just want to get out there and getting moving. I hope everyone has as good of a day as I have so far!

I've felt like that so often! Thought a lot of times about not posting a disappointing weight, but when you do it it actually drives you (well me anyway) to turn back in the right direction!11 -

4/28 - 208.8. Always amazes me how it drops a little more on weekends. I really do attribute it to weighing in a little later in the morning. Not sure why that is. I’ve been fairly consistent eating my small little deficit so that is the only thing that makes sense lol.

4/28: 180.1 Same as yesterday. Lots of walking yesterday but also lots of indulgences in my diet. I wanted a break from logging before the next round. Back to work!
4/29: 181.7 Walked a bunch but ate steak and popcorn and wine. This is the result.
4/30 181.2 Continued my walking regime. Diet a little indulgent by eating back all my exercise calories. It’s a step int the right direction though. I just need to stop eating Sunday morning grits—their calorie density just throws me off for the whole day.
5/1: 182.8 I had 12,000 steps and a great DB workout. Drank my water and stayed in calorie goal. Sigh.

Round 37 194lbs start and finish but did see 192 for a couple days
Round 38 –196lbs starting – 194lbs end. I went into this round kinda heavy. Not really counting this as a loss
Round 39 goal – would like to see at least one morning weigh in less than 190#
4/28 193lbs – we don’t diet to hard on the weekend but I hope I have the willpower to hit it hard all week long.
4/29 192lbs – kinda light on food for some reason yesterday but went over goal if you count the adult beverages.
4/30 192.00 – I usually do not report the .0 --- it is not typical for me to loose on a weekend since we don’t try very hard from Friday – Sunday night.
5/1 191.00 – posting the .0 again. totally unexpected after eating around 1500 calorie dinner. that's not counting any beverages!

4/28: 192.9lbs (-3.3lbs from SW) I feel good that my weight has dropped by 3.3lbs. I know that I put the effort in, but I feel really bloated.. So it feels extra nice that the numbers are moving in the right direction. My SW is from wednesday.
4/29: 194.0lbs (-2.2lbs from SW) I was so proud of myself this saturday because I didn't go over 1200kcal. I actually ate less than 1200kcal.. I usually losen up a bit and eat around 1500kcal on saturdays, but not this saturday! This has to be water weight. And this is why I usually only weigh once a week
4/30: 193.3lbs (-2.9lbs from SW) I feel demotivated because of the weighing everyday. I eat a looot of salt and I’m on water retaining meds, I don’t think this challenge is for me I’ve sticked to 1200kcal for a month now without any splurges!
5/01: 192.2lbs (-4.0lbs from SW) Maybe I'll reach my goal. Too soon to tell with this weird body. Feeling more motivated now that the scale is going in the right direction

4/28:--178.8 I'm going the wrong way. The last few days I have been soooo hungry and going way over my calorie goals for the day. I don't know if its just because I just got through TOM, or I'm not getting enough protein, or what--but I need to figure it out and get back on track.
4/29:--178.8 Did a good amount of exercise yesterday and only ate back about 2/3 of the calories. Hopefully that will start to make up for my over-eating last week. Going to do some yard work today.
4/30:--178.0 Headed back in the right direction. Stayed active this weekend and ate at a deficit both days. Weekends are easier for me.
5/01:--178.0 Glad it stayed; I overate yesterday by quite a bit, and today I feel bloated and tired. Yuck.

I started this challenge at round 27, at 227.8. I ended round 38 at 194. That is a 33 pound loss! I love this challenge! It goes against everything I USED to believe about weighing in daily, and has taught me to really listen to my body, not get discouraged by small set backs, and to celebrate the small victories!
