Goal weight for ladies who are 5’6?

I’m curious what other ladies who are 5’6 have chosen for their goal weight?!
I’m fairly athletic & lift weights mostly with a little bit of cardio! My “original” goal weight was 150lbs, but I felt really good at 167lbs and the scale never dropped more than that for 2 months so my new goal is 160-165lbs!
What is yours?!

Great job on losing weight. I have a fairly fine bone structure, so my goal is around 140.1

Good job working to get to 167.
I am 5'6 as well. I was 150 and now I am down to 124. My goal now is to reach 118, then lose more fat/gain muscle. So I will probably gain weight along with muscle.5 -
I'm at 158 now. My goal is 143. I might go a few pounds below 143,but I'll decide once I get there.0

Mine is 1251

220lbs now goal is 1502

I'm 5' 6.5". My original goal was 140, but I reached it and kept going. I'm now around 130 pounds and very happy.1

Goal is 1621

Honest I would be happy @180 that’s my goal for now!7

Goal weight 165-ish, but I have quite a ways to go.
I was 165 in high school, very fit, and fairly strong. I've gained at least a bit of muscle since then but also a whole bunch of the bad stuff. =(2 -
I'll say 140-145, but really I'm going by looks. So I hold my weight in arms, back, and stomach so I really just want no back fat and a flat-ish stomach and my arms to have muscle and be slim. I'm hoping that happens at 140-145 but I may have to drop lower to achieve all 3. I'm still a long ways away from finding out.3

I'm currently at 136, but there is still some fat on my stomach, so I'll probably go a few pounds lower and then reassess.0

^^^this EXACTLY! I could've written this post!0 -
I've also set my goal weight at 150 but if 165 looks and feels great, I won't allow myself to be disheartened if the scale doesn't move past that.1

My initial goal was 135, I reached it and wasn't happy there (too thin). Now I maintain 138-145.2

I’m 5 foot 7 and would like to be around 147lb which was my pre baby weight. Currently at 166lb and feel good but still carrying too much fat around my middle- I’m an apple0

Everyone carries weight differently so I'd love to see pics of anyone can share. I'm 5'6 and my starting weight more recently was 165. I hold weight in the midsection and my cheeks lol. I've gotten down to 132 and wasn't very happy with how gaunt I looked. I gained a bit of weight, got to 148 and bam! My midsection took over. Sigh. So I'm focusing more on weight lifting. I've been holding steady at about 139-140 and I'm worried I'm starting to get that gaunt look again but I'm still not satisfied with the fat I'm still holding on to. Quite the conundrum folks. LOL!

I am 5'6", started at 237 and currently below 215 (haven't weighed in a few days). I set my goal at 175 as that is what I weighed before I had kids. I am really busty and have big legs and booty, and my husband and I aren't into the stick figure look.2

I'm 5'6'' and currently 142, but was 134 before having my daughter two years ago. I liked being that weight but it took a lot of work to maintain. Pic below of me at current weight

I am currently 136ish and want to be 128. Goal weight was about 134 but I still feel very weighted around the hips/legs and want to lose about another 8-10 lbs. I am 169 cm - about 5' 6" and of a very fine build (narrow hips, tiny wrists and arms etc).0

I'm 5'8" and my GW is 130, and the rule of thumb for women is 5 lbs per inch, so if I was 5'6" goal would be 120. But everyone has different bone structure, different build, and different muscle mass. Some 5'6" chicks may look best at 145 and some may look best at 115. My own structure looks best at the lower end of healthy weight. It all depends.4

I am 5'7". I was just below 150 my senior year of high school and while it would be amazing if I got back to that I would be happy at 160. (I just don't have skinny genes, so will probably never be able to wear skinny jeans).5

What is the “5 lbs” rule of thumb??0

I'm 5'6, 60 years old. 6 years ago I weighed 248, my dr. told me I should weigh 165.
I am down to 160 and have held right around that weight for a few years now, but would like to drop another 6-8, but can't seem to do it. Even so, I'm thrilled to be where I am and able to maintain fairly easily.7 -
I'm 5'6.5" and my goal weight is 135, but I'll probably adjust that up or down, as appropriate when I get there. It's how I look, and body comp that I am most concerned with, so I may even go through a phase (or 5) of trying to gain muscle, and then cutting fat again to get the look I desire.0

The last picture is yesterday at 166lb. The first was at around 20lb heavier. I’m 5 foot 7 and an apple. I need to be in the lower end of the healthy bmi to get rid of my abdominal fat.1

I'm 5 ft 6 and aiming to get up to 112 lbs (8 stone exactly) but it really does depends on frame size and how muscular you are (I'm not particularly muscular...). Some of these ladies look like they're at their perfect weight but it varies from person to person- someone looks slim at 145 whilst another looks equally as slim at 120. I think age is a factor as well. I don't know how old you are but I think people look better if they have a bit more weight as they get older0

My goal is 121-126lbs. I'm currently 145 and still look really chunky. part of that is that I haven't spent time getting fit before, so I have a fair amount of fat to come off before I can reveal any kind of muscle underneath. I carry quite a bit of weight around my face and legs/hips. My lowest weight ever so far has been 134lbs and I was pretty happy there, but felt another 10lbs would make a big difference, so this time I'm sticking with it0

I am 5' 7" and like how I look at 125 (profile pic is around that weight). Started at 145 last year - low was 124.5 and maintenance is 125-130.0

Actually, that rule of thumb is 100 lbs for 5' and 5 lbs per inch over, so 5'6 is 130. And that is generally considered the middle.
I definitely agree that it depends, though. My current goal is just to be less than my 5'10 husband and we will see from there.2 -
I started around 198 lbs and my original goal was 150. I have been hovering between 153-157 lbs for the last few months, because I haven't been as strict with my nutrition, and I'm relatively happy with how I've been looking. After my vacation next week, I'd like to work to get down to 150 and evaluate from there. I don't think I'd want to go lower than 140.0
