A pic wouldn't help because no one can predict how you will look by losing X pounds. As you said, it varies by person. It also varies by body fat percentage changes.

What kind of physique do you want? What have you been doing to work on your aesthetic goals, how aggressive has your weight loss been (how many lbs per week losing) and have you been doing any strength training?

How do you feel you currently look, is 6 more pounds going to get you there or do you need to change what you are doing?

This. You're going to need to build muscle to get the toned look you're going for. Just losing the weight isn't going to accomplish that.

Great info thanks a ton...im start weights next week to start putting on some muscle...but I think I'm go to 158 before I raise my calories to maintenance levels...a move to body building and away from weight loss is very encouraging...i don't wanta spend my mid life with a dad bod..lol

Are you male or female? How old? Do you workout? If female, how many babies have you had? Lots of factors to consider.

A structured workout program is key. Although, I can say from personal experience...even in my 20s back in the day when I was 154 ish.. I never truly had the "flat" tummy.. probably came down to diet though..

Lean to tone look..7 to 10 minutes of workout in the a.m. mostly and and barbells..losing a 1 to 2 pounds a week..a little with dumbbells getting a bench next week....im like 6 outta,10 on my current look...thats kinda my question I'm not sure if 158 is the number[/quote]

You will only know once you get there, nobody can tell you that...keep going ;)

our bodies seem to know where we want to lose, and in a spiteful vendetta against us ... keeps it in that spot till last.

    keep eating at a deficit.

    Love this answer

I feel like I’m never getting rid of my tummy. I’m 27 with two kids. I work out 3 times a week for roughly a hour. I keep my calories under 2200 a day and drink nothing but water. The scale doesn’t seem to move. I am building muscle according to the in body scale we have at the gym and I’m not losing as much fat as I wanted.

2200 may be too much depending on your height and activity level. How accurate is your logging? Do you weigh all food on a food scale? How long have you been sticking to this?
