My books on the hold list all seem to come in spurts....I feel like I never get them, or they all come in at once.

I'm about halfway through "A Brief History of Time" by Stephen Hawking.
It's pretty interesting, but if I have one criticism it's that the book was supposedly written for a general audience without a scientific background. But I'm an engineer and I'm already somewhat familiar with the material, and I think if I wasn't then some of it would be over my head.1 -

I love that book! I especially appreciate that Hawking does not talk down to us regular folk. The real story would be based on many arcane mathematical formulas and he does a great job avoiding that, but still giving us history majors an insight into the origin and workings of our universe.0 -
