Just finished The Silent Corner by Dean Koontz. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed this book. I got the follow-on which is The Whispering Room.

I read them both recently -- I hadn't read Dean Koontz for awhile and was pleasantly surprised as well!

I just finished reading This is Me by Chrissy Metz. Horrible cringe-inducing memoir filled with platitudes. Do not recommend.

Now I'm starting My Ex-Life by Stephen McCauley. Recommendation from Tom Perrotta means it's probably good.

I just finished Comey's book also. Well documented and a good legal brief for historians down the road. Very encouraging for those of us desperate for a return to rational government for the US and the world.

I agree with this 100%. I liked her book The End of Everything. I'd say it's right in between those two, and a little more of character exploration than mystery, but definitely worth reading.
