So I have not eaten breakfast regularly in my life. I started truly, purposefully intermittent fasting about a year ago.
But, I have noticed feeling sluggish and generally exhausted in the mornings lately. A friend suggested Herbalife.

Does this friend just happen to sell Herbalife? It's an MLM thing *cough* scam.22

It's pointless.7

Maybe you should have a friend that suggested eating some breakfast!10

Herbalife is a big fat NO.
You are either not getting enough meaningful sleep, eating too little the day before, or you have to give up and start eating breakfast. Herbalife is not going to fix any of that. If eating breakfast is the answer just remember that IF does nothing special to help you lose weight.

Waste of money. If you feel like skipping breakfast isn't working for you, but you don't really like eating in the morning, you can get less expensive, better quality protein powder anywhere and make your own smoothie. I like chocolate protein powder, rolled oats, whatever greens are cheapest at the grocery this week, and some frozen berries.
Or you could have a cup of coffee if you don't have an issue with caffeine.
I would look at quality/length of sleep as well and your overall diet contents and exercise routine to see if maybe something is catching up with you.4 -
taste good, too expensive. And a pyramid scheme imo2

I was lucky to never have spent money on it. A former coworker did, hated it and gave me the rest. Vile stuff, and a waste of money. I wouldn't recommend it to people I hate, let alone anyone else.2

No, your friend is suggesting you eat breakfast... which if you want a shake for breakfast, there are many great brands out there that you can buy at Vitamin Shoppe or GNC that will be less expensive and same/better quality.1

Do you have a recommendation for a product that you like better?

Food would be a good choice.20 -
How about just eat a couple of eggs - they're quick, easy and cheaper than Herbalife.3

save your money. plenty of help and ideas on MFP0

Save your money and have a greek yogurt in the morning!1

If you're sluggish, it's because you either lack sleep or calories. You DON'T need herbalife for that. You need discipline to eat something or if you don't like to eat in the morning, make sure you ate enough the night before to sustain you through the morning. I don't eat breakfast, but I DO eat up till 11:30pm each night.

Did you not read my reply? I have skipped breakfast for more than 2 decades. When I have the occasional sluggish morning I know exactly why. The answers are very simple. You aren't eating enough the day before, you aren't getting enough quality sleep, or you need to eat breakfast.1 -

I like having a Clif Builder Bar and a piece of fruit. Or, a couple hard boiled eggs and a Quest bar. If I want something drinkable, Quest, Dymatize, PEScience, Isopure, Pure Protein - all good brands.0 -
Go to GNC or the like and buy yourself a protein powder or bars if want to have something quick and macro friendly in the morning or any time of the day
No need to get involved in multi level marketing scams . Junk products and waste of money.1 -

Second on the builders bars! They keep me going. I work on my feet from 7am to 4pm and workout and when I have no time for lunch either they tide me over till i'm done.0 -
I just researched the best and worst protein powders and many on the worst list included MLM powders. Research Consumer Reports and you'll find that the worst of the worst contain heavy metals including lead, mercury, cadmium and arsenic. All protein powders are created in a lab and manufactured in a plant. They are highly engineered and created to be craved. Repeat customers. Eat real food in real amounts, best thing for your satiety levels. It may require some cooking. Sure, you can have your 'shake' and eat it, too but at some point, shakes don't satisfy hunger.8

You should stop eating vegetables too then because they also have heavy metals in them. So much for "real" food.6 -
Just eat and drink real stuff. Better for you.1

I doubt OP will respond....she may have been feeling out this crowd to possibly deal the junk.3
