5/28--Out of town--Just checking in on everybody's progress! Got back tonight from our 3-day weekend trip; it was a belated birthday/anniversary celebration. We did some major retail therapy. We ate some really delicious meals and while I didn't log and I know I was over my daily calorie goals, I also made better food decisions than I would have a year ago. That is more important to me than measuring every calorie, because I am trying to change my eating habits for the rest of my life. I'm expecting to see a gain on the scale tomorrow, but I'm going to try to step up my activity level this week.

5/28 - 159.4 - Horrible way to start this round. My meals weren't bad, no snacking, lots of yard work and a late evening walk after dinner. Water intake was good too. Hoping this is just a slight rise before a nice drop the next day or two. Lots of outside work to do again today and it's going to be hot, so I need to remember to keep drinking
Bet it turns out to be a great round for you. My best rounds have all had a slight bounce-back at the beginning.

5/28 - 63.6kg (-0.8kg) - I ate my body weight in sourdough on Saturday so the scale is showing a bit high. I am expecting a quick drop at the beginning of the round into the 62s then it should slow down a bit. Working towards getting back into the 61s this round where I haven't been since R36!
5/29 - 63.5kg (-0.1kg) - Hmmmmm. Guess that quick drop back to my weight last round that I was expecting decided to pass me by... TOM arrived as well which is perhaps playing a part.

My goals for the holiday were to maintain marathon training and to make positive food choices, and I smashed both goals! Really happy and somewhat proud of myself although it is incredibly hard running in those heats! Lunches all prepped for the week and ready to roll!

5/28- 224.0 Had friends over last night to grill out. Decided I’d actually enjoy myself and not put too much pressure on myself. Even so, I prepared healthier options, that I successfully stuck with, & imbibed a bit, but stuck with Vodka & La Croix. Did not measure a stinking thing past noon though. Surprisingly, the scale seems pleased with my choices.
5/29- 224.8 Not too put off by the gain. I ate healthy and stayed within my limits. I weighed 3 hours earlier this morning, so I feel confident that is all that happened here.

5/28 - 170.5 - My daughter took me to a wine and painting party on Saturday night and we had the family over for a picnic yesterday and today. I enjoyed some food I hadn't had since last Summer and I really have no regrets. I stayed very mindful of the amounts I ate and although I went over my calories I know this is a little blip due to family. I did not over-indulge as I have done in the past. I'm sure it will show up in the next couple days, but I'm hoping I can end this round at 169.5 since I saw that number a couple times last round.
5/29 - 171 - I was expecting this, but I'm back on plan today and I hope I don't go up anymore this week.

5/28 / 232.4 / Very pleased to start this round with a loss from last round. I'm going to be experimenting this week making my version of bento boxes (pre-portioned items in separate compartments) for breakfast/lunch. So I can just grab one box and know it has a variety of items with a set number of calories. Ideas welcome, if anyone has done this. I like almost everything, but I have Celiac, so gluten is out.
5/29 / 231 / Most excellent! This puts me at 21 total pounds lost since I began in January. This was my goal for this round, but let's see if I can hold onto it!

•5/28 - 196.6 - I'm not sure this is accurate. Simply because I was under tremendous stress yesterday (27th) and ate just enough food before going to bed to bring my calories over the edge of 1000.
*Ended the day (28th) over 2000 calories despite my pre-planned food diary. I decided to eat the calories left behind during the past week due to lack of appetite. I had a protein heavy day of eating. Throughout the day I ate, fried chicken, a grilled chicken sausage, tossed salad, one half of a mini sweet pepper stuffed with a cream cheese spread (pretty much a fat bomb) and 2 slices of pound cake. I ate the cake, because of tradition. It was my Anniversay. All types of snack food, bread and cookies were available to eat, but I have no desire for it. I must confess that I did eat one dime size piece of potato chip that my 18 month old grandson offered to me. How could I refuse? He wanted to feed Grandmommy.
