Very overweight but I want to run. Should I wait?

I just started running again. My BMI is also 33.
I'd say: Go for it but listen to your body. Get good running shoes.
I had some pain in my shins for the first two runs but I figured it might just be because my legs aren't used to the exercise and now (just did my 4th run) they don't hurt anymore. I am also doing the Couch to 5k program. Started week 2 tonight.0 -
I started C25K at 230 lbs and am around 210 now and I can easily run 30 minutes a day. By all means do it!0
