I am totally piggybacking on this comment to say YES! This group is amazing. I've made wonderful supportive connections and am now almost at my goal weight. I'm sad that I might have to leave when I'm done losing though. Can we all make a maintenance challenge maybe? Haha
Thank you all so much for being so inspirational x
I totally agree!
I thought we could stay while on maintenance, too! If not, I’m gonna take a few YEARS to lose my last pound... hehe

My husband does this! He's 66 and thin as a rail. He brought home a couple cupcakes from work and left them on the counter. Every time I saw him in the general vicinity of the kitchen, I told him to EAT THOSE CUPCAKES. I also said come trash day, I'm throwing them out! He finally ate them when he heard that
Yes! I gave NO compunctions when ruining unhealthy tempting foods! We’ve worked too hard! The first one I learned was to take top off salt shaker and pour it over the offending party It works! I’ve also used my water glass in the past
I ask my husband to hide them from my sight. Works great.6 -

OMG. Don't leave. There are many here who lost weight here, and have stayed to maintain. I'm REALLY hoping to be one of those people VERY soon. You can be too!9 -

You are all GREAT!!
I just want to confirm @grandmajackie and @quiltingjaine ... My understanding is that everyone is welcome here, whether they're trying to lose weight or maintain. Heck, maybe we will eventually even get some people who are trying to recomp in here (me.. Me... ME!!!).
Personally, I think it's great to have a mix of people at different stages in their journeys here, including those of you who are in maintenance. Being accountable on a daily basis never gets old. Knowing that you don't have to switch groups every time you have a change in status (back and forth from weight loss and maintenance) would, I think, be comforting. Struggles are part of the process; we're all going to experience them (perhaps even after deciding we're ready for maintenance).
I love this community, and I love that it's constantly growing and evolving. I'm casting my vote for keeping this challenge open to all. It only makes us better.

That right there is what this group helped me learn. Struggles and starting over (every five minutes if I have to) are part of the process. Weight loss is not linear and it pays to know a blip from a trend. NO DAY IS PERFECT, but all days teach something if we're listening.

6/08 - 62.6kg (-0.4kg) - Christened our new BBQ yesterday and got a lot of veggies in. Resisted the last half a krispy kreme hanging about the house. I wish my partner would just hurry up and eat it already!
6/07 - 62.6kg (0.0kg)- Weigh in was a pleasant surprise after a big carby dinner last night. I succumbed to that stupid half a doughnut as well - I just got sick of looking at it haha. Lots of incidental exercise today and a light dinner planned.
6/08 - 61.9kg (-0.7kg) - I'm very excited and very dubious. I'm off sick with a cold so it is likely that the loss is dehydration. Still cool to see that 61.xx number Aiming for my goal weight of under 60kg by my birthday on the 9th July so it's potentially only one month to go! Let's do this!!

6/07: 101.1kg/222.9lbs – Amazing start to the round!! Imagine if I could creep below 100kg… Slept in today instead of going for a run and I regret it however I did work 16 hours yesterday, and working 16 hours today. Might try to run tomorrow morning instead!!
6/08: 101.2kg/223.1lbs – Happy with this, no doubt it’ll creep down again soon. 8km this morning, calves tightened up very quickly!!
