Congrats to everyone here! This is so inspiring. I am always seeing before and after pics of people on Weight Watchers and was beginning to think that might be the best way to lose weight. Now I see that it can be done with calorie counting only as well! I love this thread!6

Had to google that one.
I think it might be referring to Bikini Body Guide, but I could be wrong.3 -

About 6 months in. Leaving for vacation tomorrow thought I would pop in on here today.
Started gym and healthy eating the last week of December. (I do at least 300 reps of something everyday...doesn’t matter easy or hard and usually not hard so J don’t deter myself and also walk for at least 30 minutes...often more though because I enjoy the perspective it provides).
Also retired from drinking alcohol. Started out as dry January, then decided to wait till Spring Break since I am a teacher, got there and switched the goal to going a full year.
I follow low carb, in and out of ketosis depending on how I feel. I cut out virtually all foods with added sugars and most foods with artificial ingredients. I have technically had no soda (but I sip a sugar free red bull here and there but that’s my only cheat.)
Crazy but it’s been way easier than I would have thought. I lost 40 lbs a few years ago and gained most but not all of it back leading up to this year. I used to weigh myself everyday but now I only do once a week. My biggest gauge of how I am doing is to take a shirtless photo each week. It gives me a pretty good idea of progress and motivates me to stay the course.
Started on January 1st at 212
Last Friday I was 178.
No weight goal but have a few edges J would like to tighten up.
It’s been a good start to the journey for me. And for the first time I haven’t seen dates and weights as an ending destination. I no longer want to be “under X lbs by Y date.” Now I want to look and feel good each day.
This board has helped a lot and I thank all of you for sharing and clicking cause like many others, I couldn’t have done it without you!

Picture with shirt is April 2014 when I weighed 212 lbs or so. In the other pics, both from this week, I weigh 165 lbs.
