I'm into UK size 12 trousers as of today & on my way to size 12 in jeans too (thank goodness for belts!!)
More than that though, I'm the smallest I've ever been in my adult life. Can't believe that less than a year ago I was struggling to do up size 22 trousers/jeans...if I could get them past my thighs & backside in the first place...
Time flies so fast....just can't believe I'm here!

Yesterday I put on shorts I couldn’t wear last summer. They not only fit, they’re starting to get a little roomy! And I was going out for my birthday - it was a nice added present20

I did an XC cycling race on sunday and cme 3rd.16

I'm EXACTLY where you are! I was verging on a UK size 24 until last July when I started this weight loss journey and now I'm JUST about in size 12 jeans (with a big muffin top though). Congratulations!!! *high 5*19 -
Starting to see some definition (FINALLY) and realizing that you too actually had muscle under all that fat...

I attended my sons sports day and psyched myself up to run in the dads 100m sprint! I'm not a runner but my kids wanted me to take part and I did. I came last but I ran 100m in front of 500 people.. I would have been out of breath walking 100m a few years back

I am not sure if this is good or bad but I no longer can shop the Victoria secret semiannual sale for bras. I went from a common 36c to a hard to find and not available at VS 30d12

As a fellow MFP'r who rides his now 20yr old "mountain bike" back and forth to the gym as a form of exercise... kudos
As someone who used to race against his own 'personal best' times through the various loops of a nearby off road trail system that included hopping over downed trees, etc. ... "hats off" to you on a very nice achievement, XC biking is a combination of health, balance, stamina, confidence, etc.11 -
Happiness is...getting a new driver's license photo!
(even if they did give me a King Tut beard )72 -

Thanks so much Awww so many well dones, know you've worked your backside off to get here too! It's super strange, isn't it?? Today I happened to be by the shop I usually buy my jeans from & I decided to try some on....can't believe I'm saying this but....today I bought some size 12 jeans!
Did an experiment with my old size 22 jeans today too....
Putting the 12s on top of the 22 was surreal enough, but then I decided to "try them on"...how has this happened?!!?
(The one in the fitting room I took to send to my hubs & conveys my shock I think!!)

One size smaller pants this weekend woo hoo!17

I guess this is scale related, but not a planned thing. My annual email from Wildlife Resources Commission came to update info (if necessary) for my lifetime fishing license. It was the first time I officially gave my new weight as my weight.23

I've walked down it. I've walked up it.
I've walked down it pushing a buggy. I've walked up it pushing a buggy.
I've walked down it holding hands with a toddler. I've walked up it holding hands with a toddler.
I've run down it.
I've cycled down it (this was a little disappointing, didn't get to an interesting speed).
Today, I finally decided to heck with the traffic, I was going to cycle UP it.
So I did. I thought that I was going to die, especially as there's a bump near the top that you have to get over and then there's more to cycle up after that. Max HR was in the 170's. My RHR is about 55bpm.
But I made it. I don't think that I've ever felt so victorious. Man, it felt so good!
Next challenge: to run up it

Thanks so much, that means an awful lot! Just can't believe I'm here, feel like I was only just celebrating size 14 jeans...my brain needs to play catch up I think haha9 -
I got out of the shower and wrapped my towel ALL THE WAY AROUND ME with NO GAPS. I walked around the house for a solid 30 minutes in my towel dress because I was so proud.38

I went to family party last night. My husband’s uncle ignored me and wouldn’t speak to me! Later on he came over and apologised. He explained that he hadn’t recognised me with my weight loss (73lb), and thought my husband had got a new woman friend! I was delighted and my husband was mortified.
That's awesome!11 -
Finished week 5 of C25K. 5 min warm-up and cool-down, with a 20 minute run in the middle... I did it, ran (slowly, but ran) the whole thing. 2 months ago I couldn't run for longer than 2 minutes at a time.30
