And just think how things will be in the next two months.....August 25th.....Mark it on your calendar!7 -

Every day for you, though? Right? Still, every day a NSV! Good for you!!!!!!3 -
Just caught a reflection of my legs and thought they belonged to someone else... I have thin-ish (but still muscular) legs! As the lifetime owner of some serious thunder thighs this is a big NSV for me30

Went into a boutique shop to get a dress for a wedding since nothing I have fits me anymore. The shop owner was very helpful in pulling out different styles he thought would look good on me. I didn’t realize until I went to try them on that he had grabbed me smalls.....and they fit!!! It just about knocked my socks off! Haven’t worn a small since high school. May be vanity sizes but I don’t care, I bought a beautiful dress and felt absolutely amazing at the wedding for the first time in a long time.
This is my greatest NSV yet!
I have always thought that "vanity sizing" was much more prevalent in bigger department stores and that "boutiques" can be depressingly the opposite!15 -

That's awesome! And I'm a bit envious. Seems like I can do anything else in the gym with reasonable proficiency, but pull-ups are my kryptonite.7 -

I want to try a 45 lb plate, just to see if I can do one!6 -
I finally did a push-up! One real, no incline, no knees, all the way down and back up push-up. Took a while and had to refocus more than once on the way up, but I finally did it!36

With my daughter home from college for the weekend and my son home from RI (I'm in CT), we had a birthday party/picnic celebration. Yes, I went over in calories both Saturday and Sunday. My NSV is that today, I'm back on track. Didn't give up. Just have to toss that left over cake!23

I hadn't really realized I have dragonpants in my closet until this morning. I tried them on, zipped them up, and wore them. They're supposed to be the same shape and size as my other XL pants, but somehow they feel two sizes smaller and the fabric is stiff and doesn't stretch properly. After breakfast, I decided I can't survive the day wearing these jaws of hell, and changed into my new size L jeans that fit way better. But still, I wore the dragonpants for a good 30 minutes. Maybe some day I'm small enough so I can comfortably wear them to work.29

I haven't been able to get up EVERY morning at 5:30am to work out, but a few times a week has been doable. This morning my alarm went off, and every part of me wanted to snooze for another hour. Yet I found myself getting out of bed, putting on my workout gear, and turning on my DVD. My alarm clock app that annoys me into waking up has proven to be helpful, lol.
Also, this weekend I was able to hop and shimmy myself into size 4 skinny jeans, and button them. They were still a little small, but I'm hoping they might fit this fall. It's too bad though, they were really cute, but I wasn't ready to buy them. They'll probably be gone by then. But there will be others. I need to probably stop shopping for new clothes, but some of my current outfits are beginning to get frumpy.
I was also able to tame a dragon dress I couldn't wear a while ago. Sadly some other ones I bought and were waiting "until I lose a little bit" are now ill fitting. Boo.16 -

NICE! Remember, no plan survives first contact with the enemy. You know them dragonpants now. You won the skirmish. All that's left is the final battle of taming them dragonpants. GO YOU!!8 -

They might still be there! If I love something like that, I'll buy it and hang it on my closet as motivation. I plan on doing that once the current dragonpants are well tamed and too big.
DRAGON DRESS. YESSSS. Sucks they didn't fit the same, but it's good to know things are marching in the right direction!!3 -

Well done, Crafty! Great determination! Getting up early to work out will get easier.

Felt upset with someone, went to bed early instead of binging.
Wrote about craving food, instead of giving into craving. Came up with a solution.
and the solution was: loving yourself! Way to go! and congrats on the coat fitting.... surely more such surprises will be coming your way!3 -
people sitting next to me on the bus - I suppose its a victory of sorts - depends on the person11

DRAGON DRESS. YESSSS. Sucks they didn't fit the same, but it's good to know things are marching in the right direction!!
I thought REALLY hard about buying them anyways. They were sexy "leather" leggings and looked GOOD (albeit a little muffin toppy). BUT since I am working out more, I was a little afraid they wouldn't fit the same 6 months or a year from now. If I'm lucky and they are truly meant to be, I'll find them on the clearance rack during back to school season.
If the fit turns from Pillsbury dough girl (too tight), to potato sack(ill fitting, or frumpy), does that still classify it as Dragon Dress? I'm tempted to take one of them in to a seamstress (AKA Dragon Slayer) after I feel I'm in a more permanent size.4 -

Oooh yeah. Some pants aren't so easily downsized into. Jeans are more forgiving than most, but tailored stuff can be tricky. It would suck to get down to where they fit only to find that a loose fit is not so awesome. I get that!
Hah! Absolutely! You still tamed that dragon! I would definitely get it tailored for you when you're done. Esp if it's something you love. I have a few things I plan on doing that with myself.4 -
My poor math skills and lack of attention led to a 175 lb deadlift on Saturday! ( not the 165 I was thinking I’d do). I also did a training session with my super strong friend and mostly kept up with all the lower body moves—she was complaining about a lack of progress on squats and our trainer friend told her to squat like me I’m no great shakes, but apparently I am not making a fool of myself either. Yay!
Also got to share clothes with my 6 & 8 yo yesterday the 4 yo loved pointing out that I was wearing “his” shirt all day (it’s a boys M, so way to big for him, but fits the older two fine, they just don’t like the color). Not quite how I’d pictured the sharing clothes moment, but with 4 boys I suppose this is the best I’m going to get!23 -
I weighed and measured two days early, today, just to see if I was on track for the week. I've lost 0.5cm from my bust this week, 2cm from my waist and 1.5cm from my hips! But the most exciting part, was I looked at my total measurement loss, and it's now 6cm total lost from my bust, 7cm from my waist, and 3cm from my hips! I'm very happy about this.
Also, I went down a waist size today. I am in pms, so I just wanted to check how things were going, and this was a pleasant surprise.22
