I was tracking with strava when I did a test paddle on longer SUP and got it up to 6.3 mph. Most I have done on my shorter one is 4.8.19

I can now wear clothing in the sizes available in trendy stores. No more awkwardly waiting while the staff try to see if they have my size somewhere in the back... the size that never existed.28

Week 6 on C25K. 2 - 10minutes runs between the walking. Didn't have to slow down once for the running part!14

I had to take a week break from "running" because I had lasik surgery. Today I ran, and the first two minutes weren't painful at all. I've never run without pain* before (sad but true). If I keep this up, maybe someday I'll actually be able to run.
*Note: I usually don't suffer from joint pain or "unhealthy" pain, just my muscles and lungs complaining that they actually have to work.
I had the same issue, then my University's running coach taught me something: slow down! Slowing down so you can run longer is the trick to building speed and stamina. Counter-intuitive, but absolutely works. I would struggle with running for 4 minutes, within 3 weeks, I could run for 20 minutes. PS: my profile pic is a very accurate description of my running.17 -
My wife and I went out to eat last night. The server directed us to a booth where there was not much room between the table and seat. 5 months ago I would not have fit - and would have experienced an awkward moment. The NSV is I fit and avoided the embarrassment.38

I just bought a new bike - a Jamis Renegade. Love it. I picked up my old bike - a Jamis Allegro Sport (hybrid) from the shop after a complete tune up. I just gave that bike to my oldest son who is 28 and in great shape.
We are always competing and he usually wins. He wants to ride with me, but not just yet, because he is worried that he couldn't keep up. I think I will count this as a NSV win for me.24 -

OK, they were tight and I hung over the top a bit but I was in - hopefully wearing them comfortably is in sight. Each time I have got down to this weight I have gained it back very slowly - this time (my 3rd attempt) I am hopefully better prepared for maintenance when the time comes. Last time I never quite reached my goal weight before becoming complacent. This time I will!
In another NSV... I have almost tamed the dragonpants. I can get into them, but I do not fit them for sure (too much pudge getting squeezed out). SOON. 5 pounds or so, I think.
THE DAY IS COMING THE DRAGONPANTS WILL BE SLAIN AND MINE ONCE MORE.
My DRAGONPANTS are white and skinny and have these awesome big bellbottoms and they
hang there taunting me. You will be slain Dragonpants!

At my gym yesterday morning, this beautiful blonde stopped me & complimented me on my weight loss (I'm down over 50 pounds), and she asked me how I did it, since she only sees me at the gym for about 15 minutes a day (I'm usually only there to stretch & shower). I told her about eating right & 9Round. Made my week17

My DRAGONPANTS is a size Small dress (juniors small) that was hanging on a Medium hanger in the misses department, I was not paying attention and got it as it's super cute and was the only one there (hmmm, wonder why). I can put it on, it's just really snug and not flattering (yet). I try it back on every 10lbs I lose. Last time I could finally zip it up.22 -
My watch is getting loose. It's a small thing,but I'll take it!17

Best nsv for me so far.
My right knee has been in pain when I climb stairs, but lately it has not been bothering me.

1) Just got back from my 45th Parkrun. Finished in a reasonable time, considering how hot it was there. I was pleased with it, anyway.
If I go every week between now and the end of July, I'll finally have earned my 50 Run t-shirt. That's going to involve a bit of travelling as the local one has a couple of cancellations over the next month. But I'm mad enough to get up crazy early and do it. And do lots of training between now and then in the hopes of getting a new PB.
2) And yesterday, absolutely hammered my time for my short (12 mile) bike ride. I was 5 minutes faster than the best time I've ever done. 46.2 mph down my hill (was nearly thwarted by an Asda grocery delivery van but he decided to break the speed limit as well). Made my eyes water a bit! And, this was the best bit, going up a hill to a bridge, I went flying past a very fit looking bloke on a bike. I never go past anyone else on a bike - they're usually younger, slimmer, fitter and on lighter bikes than me (I never see heading-towards-old-age old dears like me when I'm out on my mad bike rides) - so this was one of those "feel good" moments.
I am buzzing. Now i just have to drag my family out for a short bike ride before I go off on another adventure . . .25 -
Got up later than I'd planned this morning and had wanted to walk before sunrise because it's soooo hot (I live in FL). I walked anyway, the sun came up and it was just fine. Feeling happy that I didn't wimp out.20

My $20 Asian FitBit clone was lost playing water polo on SUPs at a lake. Two NSVs - (1) I was playing water polo on SUPs; it's pretty intense exercise and I have learned to paddle and balance well enough to do it. (2) I am not sure I will replace the FitBit clone. I track my dedicated walks with mmw and my longer SUP paddles with Strava. I feel sure I am getting enough exercise in general that I don't feel like I need to monitor every step to get extra credit for wandering around at WalMart.16 -
My size 8s fit, even though I'm bloated due to TOM. I've had size 8s fit to some extent since December, but every time I realize it, I get really happy because I've never been smaller than a 12 before since I've been an adult.26
