    I'm 35 and I only feel old when I see my teen turn another year older or when I look at the year a movie was made and it was released 10 yrs ago or when I wake up with a new ache on my body that wasn't there the night before.

    Dude, the other night I watched David Lynch's 'Elephant Man'.

    It dawned on me, that film it is almost 40 years old.

    It's all about perspective. When I was a teenager, I thought 36 was ancient. Thought I would never be that old.

    My 64th birthday is coming up next month and 36 seems very young. It is a lifetime ago. Literally. I met my wife when I was 35. My whole life changed. For the better. Before I met my wife I was a selfish, self-absorbed, arrogant jerk. After she entered my life, I pretended to change. Somewhere along the way I was no longer pretending. I'm 28 years into my new life.
