    I lost about 8-9 lbs, but i didn't need to lose much, only 5-7 lbs to go. I am currently cutting and when I am happy with how lean i am, I'll be going back to a slow bulk.

    I've lost 30 pounds since January 2018. Still would like to lose about 40 more. I calorie count and exercise by walking and do some body weight exercise. Consistency works.

    64.4 pounds in almost 15 months. Less than 10 pounds to go. All on MFP.

    30lbs since last fall, but almost 20 of that has been since April with MFP. I'm down to the last 10ish.

    85#. I was at 99, but the elusive “100” is still the goal.

    In the year before I signed up here, 10 pounds. Since then, 33 pounds. So 43 total!

    55 lbs since Oct. 2018. Strict calorie counting plus strength and cardio training.

    Calorie deficits alone will get you there, but exercise will help shape you, and, in my opinion, get you there faster. Plus, since you are expending more calories daily with exercise, it allows you to eat a little more and still lose, so I don't feel like I am starving all of the time.

    10 lbs to go until maintenance.

    30 lbs since November after a couple of false starts. Could be more but I've been pretty casual about it and don't do anymore exercise than walking.

    About 180lbs. (I have no idea what my start weight was as my scale only goes to 350lbs - so my start weight per my scale is "ERR").

    That's amazing, congrats! :)

    49 lbs net...it was 57 at one point but I backslid due to an ankle injury this year where I ate out of self pity for a while and had no activity. But I've got the scale back moving in the right direction now.

    My last recorded weight on MFP was 195 lbs in March of 2017. I did not attempt to diet from then until about 4 months ago and weighed in at 179 lbs. Somehow I lost 16 lbs without trying and am not complaining. Four months ago I started going to the gym and watching portions and am now down to 167, so another 12 lbs down for a total of 28 lbs lost. I am 5'4 and my goal weight is 130 lbs. It is slow going but I am ok with that as long as I keep going in the right direction. I don't actually count calories, but I do watch portions (still eat burgers and hot dogs, just not a pile of them in one sitting). I do 6 Les Mills classes per week.

    50-something pounds (exact CW figure varies daily - today it would be 52) back in 2015-16 at age 59-60, while hypothyroid. Wish I'd done it decades earlier!

    @MelanieCN77
    When we say "work our *kitten* off", we really are in every sense of the phrase.
