Silicone wedding bands

Does anyone have a favorite brand they recommend? My brother uses qalo, but I've seen several on Amazon for a lot less $$. Is there really a difference?
Also my husband would like other color options besides 3 shades of gray that the men's rings tend to offer, any suggestions?
Thanks!

Can I ask what this has to do with fitness and exercise?7

Or ruining your actual bands on bars and dumbells.... They can hurt too.
OP, I've only ever worn qalo3 -
Why a silicon wedding band? Do you mean as a replacement to wear for your metal wedding band when working out? I've never heard of this. Is he allergic to gold/silver/titanium?1

If your wedding band is uncomfortable while lifting, why not just take it off and not wear a ring while you lift?5 -

My boss runs marathons and triathlons, he recently switched from a metal band to a silicone. It's more comfortable, he doesn't have to think about it or worry about losing it taking it on and off. Anyway, what difference does it make what the ring is made from?0

I recently bought a couple super cheapo silicone wedding bands off the internet for like $5 a piece. One looks like gold and the other silver. I'm very happy for the price. Unfortunately I can't remember the site. But there's no reason to pay $40. Just find the cheapest in the color you like. They are all the same.2

I bought an inexpensive set from Amazon and they work perfectly fine. I don't wear them for lifting (I don't wear any rings in the gym, too much hassle at 6am) but they are great when playing sports or hiking all day. No reason to buy the more expensive brands IMO.
ETA: I found a link to the rings I bought: Egnaro Silicone Wedding Ring
It's very thin, because I'll occasionally use one to make sure my real ring is secure when it's super cold. You guys may prefer wider bands, scrolling down I see some mens versions with really fun colors though!2 -
12 responses... has anyone actually answered OP's question? I guess the last couple have. Finally.
OP, I've got nothing significant to add, but I have seen these types of rings advertised in the back of magazines (triathlon, running, biking, etc). Perhaps check a couple next time you're at the grocery store and see if there are any other options that seem more appealing.3 -
I’d just get a cheap one off amazon. Kind of want to get my husband one. I got him a cool wedding ring with a coco bolo Inlay and he doesn’t wear it very often bc he works in construction.0

Check out groovelife.com. They have tons of color options. I have the groove brand and love it. All my workout friends have the silicone rings and swear by them. If you lose it on a bike ride or open water swim....no big deal.1

I like wearing a ring.

Interesting.
In the interest of peaceful interactions I'd like you to know that I'm not woo-ing you. I don't give enough *kitten* to do that.
Thank you for clarifying. It just seems a little possessivey to me, that's all. My husband and I rarely wear our bands. His doesn't fit anymore and mine gets in the way of a lot of things (lifting, cleaning, etc) I don't care if people can see that I'm married or not and he doesn't feel that way either. Both of us know where our marriage stands.5 -

I have 2 different Knot Theory bands that I wear. I've had one for over a year and just got a second color last week so I have choices.
I was taking my rings off for karate and then forgetting to put them back on. It says nothing about the state of my marriage and is more about my finger feeling naked without the ring on. Plus, I just plain like wearing the ring.
I wear the silicone ring about 50% of the time...some because I forget to put my actual wedding band on and some because I like the way it looks.2 -
Thanks to those who replied, yes they're for working out, specifically my husband is getting into ninja training and doesn't want to get hurt or damage his ring.1

Very common with the military as well. No fear of losing or getting a ring snagged on gear and causing an injury.
I have a Bondwell brand, but there are several 5* rated brands out there.

My husband and I both have Thunderfit that I ordered from Amazon. I prefer the thin rings and the brighter colors. He prefers the thicker ones and has several different colors as well. We both kept forgetting to put our bands back on after lifting and jiu jitsu. These did the trick. I'd suggest ordering a half size smaller than you wear bc they do stretch a little.1

That's the brand I was learning toward! Thanks!1 -
This has been discussed before on here and if still makes no sense to me. I just take mine off.3

I bought cheap ones off Amazon for both me and my husband. Wearing my wedding band while lifting was getting uncomfortable. I like to wear my ring though. I didn't want to worry about damaging it.
Then I lost weight, now my wedding ring will need resizing. I now wear the silicone band in front of my wedding ring when I wear it, because it is so loose it wriggles. I wear the grey one for that.
For the same price, DH got 3 or 4 in two shades of grey, black and white. I paid for 5, got 7 - including bright pink, purple, green, and the same four neutral shades DH got. Same company, same price.
I believe they are honorgear brand, or something.0 -
I have a few groovelife rings. Hardly notice it’s there and they have a lifetime warranty that covers basically anything0

So I don’t have any advice for the OPs question since I don’t use them, but I just wanted to support NEVER wearing metal rings when you are lifting weights. All you need to see is one image of a “degloved” hand or finger torsion to understand why metal rings and lifting don’t mix. If you are worried about losing your rings, I keep mine attached to a caribiner clip that is attached to my keys while I workout. I can’t leave without my keys so I never risk leaving my ring behind either.3

I've had Qalo and I recently bought a cheap set from Walmart. I cannot tell the difference. The Walmart set was less than $5 and they had a ton of different colors.1
