Do you have a favorite food you eat the night before a workout or competition? Something that helps you to feel light on your feet and ready to go? And/or is there a meal that makes you feel like a lead weighted slug the next day?

    Pizza. The night before a long run or a major race, I typically eat an entire pizza.

    I must eat a burrito bowl the night before a race. I'm really not sure if its the burrito bowl itself or the ritual but I don't really care lol, it works so I go with it.

    My dad used to make me drink pickle juice 🤢 I don't recommend.... pasta or anything high in carbs usually works for me though!

    I figure this out through my training so I find what works best then I don’t change anything prior

    Big bowl of rotini pasta with meat sauce, mushrooms and lots of grated parmigiano.
