What Mini Goal is motivating you right now!

A hot younger guy I work with is a bit sweet on me. It's not going to go anywhere as I'm married and he is more than a little bit younger, but I have to admit I'm flattered enough at the idea that it's motivated me to say no to this bit of chocolate or to walk that extra half mile these past couple of weeks.11

I’m starting to see the development of abs coming in! Very excited since I’ve never had them at any time in my life!

2lbs and I'll be in the 160's! Last time I weighed in the 160's was more than 20 years ago.12

Get rid of the 140’s for good. Been stuck between the mid to upper 140’s, and occasionally slipping into the lower 150’s for the last 6 months.9

Seeing my 19 year old twins at the end of the month - 40 lb lighter than when I saw them at xmas. Can't wait to surprise them. Only 4 or 5 lb to go! Yes. I can do this!23

Honestly, two dudes in here. One is my age (almost) and another is a couple of decades younger (hey, I will not hold him responsible for that!). These two dudes are killing it. If they can, then I know I can. And, no - I do not want to look like them! I can not do that (not that I would complain if that were possible...). But, they are building the best "me" that they can....and so am I. Their 'better version of me' is just so dang impressive (no matter age). Mine is not quite there....yet!
I start a new meso-cycle today (for the next six weeks)….let's just see what happens (I bet that I know...I get a whole lot closer to my version of "better version of me" than I am right now).10 -
Honestly, I don't know what my drive is. I've transitioned from dieting and working out like a mad woman to more clean eating and paying attention to what my body seems to tell me it wants. I haven't lost much, and have actually fluctuated about 5 pounds. However, I've been able to really look at accepting my body more. I guess allowing myself to have what I seem to want has paid off and now I'm naturally coming out of a rebellious phase that you seem to have whenever you're dieting. I now truly want more healthy foods and lifestyle rather than making myself work toward it. This feels much more authentic. And, at the end of the day, I'm no worse for wear.
So I guess my mini goal is to continue listening to my body, eating clean, and just keep repeating the benefits of a healthy lifestyle so it stays positive in my brain.9 -
I am back to work this week. Its only monday morning and it already feels hard! Its the summer holidays and I'm a nanny so its 11 hour days for me till Sept. My mini goal for this week is to eat well, and try and make it to the gym 3 days after working 11 hours. Fingers crossed!9

Well team I did it I made it to the gym 3 days after work this week. Didn't lose any weight this week but also didn't gain any so thats a win9 -

My goal is to get to 160 by September 1st. I am currently 165. I have a bunch of clothes that I used to wear when I was 160 so will be glad to fit into them!6

Swimming 5-6 x per week for 30-45 minutes and covering 3 miles a week. Eating 1200 calories a day, eating a few fun summer foods with earned exercise calories. Enjoying summer!! Hoping to return to school in September, happy, fitter, and 10-15 pounds lighter.

I've started working with a Health Educator (free 💖) at my Dr.'s Office. And I have to weigh in with him every 2 weeks. It was to help myself stay accountable and on track. I rely needed someone to help me keep everything in line. I know all the work is on me, but having someone in person who is helping me stay on track is such an asset. This is the first time, so I'm excited.15

Hitting 85 kg before my vacation at the end of the month. I'm currently at 86,5, so it should be doable.4

I bought my first Aussie size 8 outfit in years: a t-shirt and skinny jeans. I'm hoping to wear it in September; if I don't make it, that's fine, I'll wear it when I can. But I wanted to have one outfit in my goal size physically in my home, so I can look at it, try it on, and visualise myself in it and work towards it.12

Getting up into a headstand! I am getting SO close, I can get my knees up but can't yet straighten my legs.13
