I was on vacation recently and had a few times when I was, "Hunh, I actually don't need to take my phone with me." It was weird, but freeing.3

Literally cannot be without my phone. Not for a second. Can't imagine what you're going through!1

But what if something goes wrong?.. What if there's a gas leak and my house explodes and nobody can call me?.. What if someone texts me and I can't answer and they think I don't like them!?. This is going to be a long day.1 -
I love a phone and social media break... but only a couple of times a year when I'm on holiday!1

I just noticed this thing on my desk and I almost used it in desperation. . I vaguely remember these things from the olden days. It sort of looks like a phone but it's big and it has a cord and there's no way it would fit in my pocket.4

I don’t feel attached to my phone so much, I just can’t let it out of my sight or my husband will figure out my real M-F 8-5 gig3

Do you need a passcode to get into your phone? Does someone know your passcode? What if someone manages to unlock it and see ALL your "progress" pictures and recipe sharing? Am I adding more anxiety to your day?
Sorry, I woke up very inquisitive today 😏4 -
I totally understand. My phone died yesterday afternoon before working out and it was the WORST not having my music. Or email. Or Runkeeper. Or/or/or....ha ha.0

These were the thoughts going through my head as well. I bet a real panic attack could ensue for some people who leave their phone at home
Thanks a lot! I just realized that my ex knows my garage code. . What if she finds out my phone is there unattended?. . She might break in and then hack my pattern. .She could use my son's stereo-microscope to see the subtle marks left on the glass . . There are some really lame selfies on there I haven't deleted yet. . What if those end up on the internet!?1 -

Our most private thoughts are on our phones whether it be through social media platforms, Texts, emails, pictures etc. I'd feel extremely violated if someone decided go through my phone while left unattended.0 -
I don't think I could last the day!0

I don't get anxiety leaving my phone but I'd be way more bored. I'd have to use my actual laptop instead if I were home. If I was out I'd be forced to start a conversation which I sure as hell won't do so I'd meticulously push back my cuticles with my finger nail and have a few anxiety attacks until I could reasonably fake use the bathroom again.

I guess I'm in the minority here. I'm usually not glued to my phone and have left it at home before. As long as I know it isn't lost, I'm fine. I have important numbers memorized and in case of a true emergency I'll borrow someone's phone to call.1

Well, one thing I can be thankful for is Chrome's incognito mode. . (whew!). .

My cell phone lives on a shelf. If I take it with me it never leaves my purse. It is just for emergencies not texting, chatting, browsing the internet, taking photos. I would get rid of it but in a real emergency I would want it. There has not been a real emergency since I got it though. I hate phones and am happy not to use any kind of phone.0

Glad I saw this thread. Haven't used my cell in over a month and this reminded me to charge it.

I make my fiancé bring it to me lol. It’s gotten to the point where I don’t even have to ask. He’ll just show up with it, knowing I’m at stage 5 mental breakdown.0

No one calls me anyway, so I don't think I would miss it much.0
