OK, I am back for another 5lb challenge! I have been very busy the last two months with work, hiking, backpacking, etc. All good as I shifted to "maintenance mode" for two months. I found that it was just not going to be possible to maintain a deficit while hiking a lot and backpacking. From experience I know I need to eat upwards of 5,000 calories when hiking long distances and backpacking. I just cannot run out of fuel/energy (bonk) when out in the woods or desert.
However, I have maintained in the 182-185 range since early June. Success!
But it is time to drop the last few pounds. You all keep me honest and inspire me. We can do this!

Ultimate goal : Undecided, still way too many to go. At this point, I go for 8% body weight loss, then keep resetting.

August 11 258 I was in the zone this week total focus
August 18 I have surgery on the 13th and will be sporting a 12 day casetn right arm so not weighing in on the 18th.
August 25 My goal with surgery is to not gain anything to maintain or lose a pound for a stretch goal for month.
So I can start September at 257 that is my goal, at this point.5
