After looking back at the reports on here and seeing a lot of 'in the red', I realised that that was the reason for the gains I have had recently.
Pulled self together, got back tracking and caring enough not to just 'go over and make it up tomorrow'. Had last week averaging in the green, stuck to my weights and got 31.5kg bench press and 60kg deadlift. Very happy.
But mostly, I sat and browsed JustEat for around an hour this weekend (counted my shrapnel jar and have about £50) but I didn't order anything. I ate what was in cupboards and cooked stuff in the fridge. Weekends are a lot harder for me so I felt really good about that
Next challenge, move weights til after work tomorrow and Thursday so I am better fueled and can get the 65kg deadlift!19 -
My workplace has a habit of taking candid photos and publishing them on social media. My workplace also has a habit of Monday morning meetings, and starting the meeting with a mini workout of some sort. Today, we did squats and stretching, and someone snapped a photo of everyone stretching and trying to touch their toes, so the photo is literally bottoms up. I just saw the photo, and my behind looks, well, damn fine.
Also, I accidentally ate a whole lot of chocolate over the weekend, got some wine and didn't log anything. When I realized this on Sunday night, I just went "meh, okay", realized my mental health probably needed this break from everything, and resumed regular weigh-ins and logging like nothing happened. No panic over "falling off the wagon" or "failing" or anything. Broke my plateau, too.35 -
One of the young late teens/early 20's staffers at the Y told me I was looking good. It never hurts to have a college aged woman who is probably a peer with my youngest daughter say I was looking good.21

I did a 40 min Tae bo workout this morning and didn’t die 😩😂26

I tried a skirt yesterday on that I took on holiday with me in June. I didn't wear it on holiday because it pinched when I put it on, and was just that little bit too tight for me. Well yesterday it fit and wasn't uncomfortable at all.
Shame the weather is pants, but if the sun decides to come back out again, I have a super summery skirt to wear again!15 -

Always a sign of a good workout!

I was so proud of myself for getting down low enough that medium T shirts fit me properly and now they are getting tight again...
In the biceps! Booyah! It's mostly when I do pull ups and the hemmed sleeve end slides down over the bicep and isn't as stretchy as the rest of the sleeve and gets stuck. Really bugs me when I have to slide them back down - NOT!24 -
Woke up at 4:30 and done W1D2 of c25k. Had to pause the timer a couple of times to walk out a stitch before continuing, but I done it. Even after trying to convince myself to skip my ride this morning and go back to my warm bed for another hour, but faced the cold and even SWEATED. Admittedly I had a heavy coat, a scarf and a beanie on, but still, I didn't want to face the cold and I sweated. Then went and gave Shakaya a quick ride, half an hour, all walking, working on forward, pivoting and a tyre and barrel drill.15

I slithered into size 14 pants, off the rack, and bought them. Because I liked them, not because they upholstered me and I was grateful. -170, 5 to goal. Thank you MFP posters - you are inspiring.30

Just made an ooey gooey birthday cake and managed not to nibble on the glace cherries or clean (lick) the bowl and spoon. Courtesy of a really good spatula all the mix went into the pan!23

Felt trapezius muscle today when rubbing my shoulders. When I put my arms up, both feel like hard, well developed muscles. And I don't intentionally work on either of those muscles - they popped up by themselves doing compound lifts.
Reminds me of the "volunteer" plants that show up in a garden in the spring. You are like, oh, I didn't plant this, but thanks for showing up!19 -
I stayed at my calorie goal all last week even though I was having cheesy things. I've considered cheese a trigger for overeating (i.e. I have trouble controlling my portions size) in the past, so I'm glad I'm able to incorporate it back into a reasonable diet because I LOVE cheese.18

I hit a personal best on deadlifts at 200 lbs. for 5 reps. I was stuck at 1955 forever so that felt great!

I ran on a treadmill for 20 minutes doing on of the pre programmed location runs after the first five minutes the incline never went below 5 and went up to 9% multiple times. I ran the whole time and at a faster pace than I could manage a two minute 0 incline run when I first started this journey.19

Now I'm craving cheese. Thanks.

All the schools and almost all the activities have started and I woke up early to run five days last week and I’m on day three this week. Hubs leaves by 6 am during the week and we have lots of early weekend activities, so I was dreading my loss of mid morning gym time. I’m still trying to figure out how to get in all my lifting time, but I’m getting there!13
