I was walking at IKEA yesterday, and it felt like I was standing up straighter. I just feel so much lighter and freer than early spring (the last time we went to IKEA for something).19

I received a Prime Wardrobe box yesterday (well, bag). Except for the bras (which had various issues), everything fit. And looked good. I bought everything in 4s in pants and smalls. I was thinking I was overestimating my size loss and they may not fit. No, they fit. They fit nicely. Now the only problem is, I want to keep it all!
This goes a long way to building my fall capsule wardrobe. Black skinny jeans, black leggings, (I already have blue jeans), and black dress pants. That is all the pants I will really need! I can't believe in one order I found all those items that fit and look good on me. Of course, that is due to my excellent Amazon shopping and review reading skiils Shirts are next, shirts are easier to just pick up.22 -
Got a friend introduced to the Dark Side. I got her to download the app!18

I went out yesterday in search of black dress pants, as I already have leggings and a pair of slim leg, but more casual pants. Got a pull on style black ankle pant at JJill on sale for 40% off in a PXS.

While on a three and half week awesome road trip, I managed to lose a pound plus (can't remember the exact weight before vacation) with zero tracking of food or exercise. This has inspired me to buckle down and start getting serious again, logging measuring, exercising. the whole shebang.20

I'm ordered a new dress that's two sizes smaller than I was wearing when I started. When I took it out of the box, I thought, "That's going to be way too small," but it was just right.16

Logged all of my meals, looked at reports and noticed trends in my eating, decided some areas that needed changes, tried the changes, they worked, I made adjustments, now prelogged my week according to those adjustments.

My ankle pants are actually a 4PS, a SHORT petitie. Like they have petite and then SHORT petite. I've never seen that size on the shelf so I'm glad I could find them, because most petite things are usually too long for me yet. Like the black pants, which fit PERFECTLY, the only problem with them is they are too long, even in my heeled shoes, which I don't always want to have to wear with them, so they'll have to be hemmed. The black jeans are pull on style ankle pants as well, a new style for me.
Now I just need to ruthlessly edit my closet of all things too big. 3/4 of my closet are Large that I can't wear, and the mediums I bought over the summer don't really fit well anymore either.12 -
I deadlifted 205 lbs. Saturday. It's the most I've ever been able to lift. And I did it 5 times! Whoo hoo!30

I hear you re: the closet. The larges I had were out, definitely, a few of the medium tops still work (especially over leggings) but not any of my pants remotely fit anymore. It’s crazy! Good, but crazy-lol.

Well I have an "almost" NSV. I bought a pair of size 16 shorts so that I had something to work towards and I was able to get them up over my butt and buttoned, although I could barely breathe and my stomach felt like it was dying a slow and agonizing death... But that's not the point. Another 15 lbs or so and I will be in a size 16 for the first time in my adult life!40

Went for a bike ride today (yes, really!) but decided to just roam around, following my nose, instead of doing my usual route. I ended up miles from anywhere and got just a little bit lost. Eventually, by making lots of vague turns in the approximate direction I thought I needed to go, I found myself in an area I knew and managed to get home from there. Just before the panic really started to set in - I had visions of ringing my husband and asking him to come and find me!
My husband thought it all hilarious, especially when he pointed out to me that I do have a sat-nav-thingy on my phone. Didn't even think of using it . . .
But my detour added a good ten miles to my ride. And now I know how to get back, I may do it again later in the week. Just because I can . . .30 -
New clothes 2 sizes smaller and still baggy, got some jeans 4 sizes smaller and they fit woohoo 🎉25

Ran into an old friend in the gym the other night and we didn't recognise each other because of the weight we'd both lost55

Went way over on Saturday and was planning to spread out the recovery over a few days. Paddled SUP 8.7 miles on Sunday but ate like I had no exercise, basically applying it against Saturday and averaged goal for the weekend.13

Even though today was a crazy Monday I didn’t eat over my calories! I literally ate the exact amount which was great because I wasn’t feeling great today. It really made me feel good especially since I felt like I had the weight of the world on me today.25

I took a new face photo and compared it to photos of me right before I started. I realised I now have my cheekbones and pointy chin back. My neck is not as wide, and it now has a hollow at the bottom of it. I’ve also lost some more of my jowls and my double chin area is smaller.19

After losing nearly 50lbs I had the confidence to get back in the saddle and went riding with my daughter. We have not done that for about 10 or 12 years - and at that time I felt self conscious because of my weight. I was worried that my hips and knees wouldn't cope but, although my ankles ached, and getting off was 'interesting' I was absolutely fine and I didn't feel sorry for the horse. What's more - it was too embarrassing being asked my weight before they chose my horse. This is a biggy for me - I rode all through my childhood up until my mid 30's. I owned my own horse and competed but as he aged, and I got fatter I stopped riding him. Sadly, he died about 12 years ago and apart from that one hack with my then young daughter I've not ridden since. So good to be back in a saddle.35

I was a little freaked out when I felt these weird knobs... I think they're hip bones??? 😂 never felt those before.22

Spent three and a half hours kayaking around a lake with my two boys. They were complaining about getting tired and that it was hard. I felt great and could have paddled for days, down 50lbs and committed to working out 2 or 3 times a week. What a huge difference, I can’t imagine a year and a half ago where I wouldn’t even have attempted it...22

One hundred days of logging, I expected MFP to send me a piece of cake or something. jeeez.38

Got measured yesterday (even though I didn't want to since the scale has been up). Down 6 inches in the spots I want to reduce and up 2 inches in the spots I want to increase. Still lots more work to do, but it's progress. :-)25

I bought an expensive workout tank a few years back (because it was so cute!) and I only wore it once because it was way too tight. Changed into workout clothes last night and I grabbed it because all my other workout clothes were dirty. I was amazed to see how loose it was - almost too big! I love being able to shop in my closet!31

@motivatedmartha Horseback riding is/was my main/initial motivation for losing weight. I went on a trip one year and was denied at a few places because of my weight. I understood it, the safety of the animal and all, but it was soul-crushing. Now, I'm terrified that I am still too heavy, but once I get myself down into a healthy BMI, you can bet I'm going to find a place!18

I realized I could have a cookie with my sandwich for lunch today, and got one. I have had a history of over-restricting in the past so getting that cookie while within my calorie limit was very important to me!41

Had 4 co-workers from other offices in for a visit today. All 4 of them commented on how great I looked and asked what I was doing to lose weight. One even called me small. Never have I ever been considered small! It felt great!23

Your photo tells me that you are certainly not too big now to ride almost anything (OK Shetland maybe not! ) - but it will be a really cool thing to treat yourself to as you cross that imaginary BMI healthy line! Just make sure to strengthen knees, ankles and stuff first. Not so much saddle sore today - even though it has been 12 years - as feeling it in the ankles and knees. Good fun though3 -

If I could get away with it, I would have a MINI PONY... ahem.
But yes, I believe you! It's hard to accept -- because I am terrified of rejection so I say "healthy BMI and there will be ZERO QUESTION". But it is fear talking, and I definitely will be treating myself when I cross the healthy BMI line. I should cross it by the new year if my general trajectory stays on track. *crosses fingers*!7 -
I stuck to my grocery list while shopping today. I don't think I bought even one thing I didn't intend to.26
