Happy Sunday, everyone!
No, I didn't see a 199 number yet...but it will happen soon. I am really pleased with my progress this month, it is the best one in a long while.
Vacation coming September 1st, planning how not to undo this...there will be food... Going to visit my Mom, she lives on the third floor...perhaps stairs instead of elevator may help offset inevitable extra calories... I am sure we will be doing a fair amount of walking too. I need to plan so I don't undo my progress.
I bought a new pair of jeans this week. First new pair in a few years, my existing jeans are way too big now.
Size 16 regular!!! The smallest ones since I can't remember when. They look nice on me too. Woot! I am wearing clothes I have had not been ab!e to wear for a long time and somehow never donated in hopes they would fit again.
The jeans I am retiring are size 20W and they were getting snug before I resolved to make a change. They were pretty baggy the last time I wore them in the spring. The biggest ones I ever wore were 24W back in 1999 and I kept them as a reminder that I never wanted to wear them again.
Highest weight ever: 254 in October 1999.
Lowest since 1999: 195.
Original starting weight: 243 in 2015.
MFP Starting weight December 25th, 2016: 233
Goal: 180 in however long it takes.
Weekly averages:
July 30th to August 5th: 202.4
August 6th to August 12th: 201.7
August 13th to August 19th: 200.8
Loss for August: 1.6 lbs. Yippee!
MFP Loss: 32.2 lbs.
Total cumulative loss since mid 2015: 42.2 lbs.
Until next week,
Move more, eat less.
I'm about to throw a 'You go girl in Onderland' party for you---im so excited! Lol. So close, Jenn! Get 'er done!3 -

Hopefully soon. Realistically it won't be for good until the weekly average starts with a 1-number.
I am 51 years old. I have been over 200 lbs for over half of my life. I went over 200 during my first pregnancy in 1992, and only saw a 1 number a couple of times since, 18 years ago. My daughter is 26, and my son is 24. Before I planned my family I struggled with weight and saw a doctor for 8 months to lose weight before trying to conceive. Lost 24 lbs then but it all came back with the pregnancy and never went away. Had 2 kids just under 2 years apart, gained afterward and maxxed at 254, and managed to lose 52 lbs in 1999-2000, but still couldn't stay below 200. Held steady for about 13 years and the pounds crept on again til I peaked again at 243 in 2015. I didn't want to keep going so it was time to really change. I cut meal portions and got a treadmill, and managed to lose 10 lbs. I asked for a step tracker for Christmas and got it in 2016, paired it with MFP and never looked back.
So yeah, ONEderland is a big deal for me...psychologically, as well as physically. It has been a long time coming. WHEN that average starts with a 1, I promise myself it will never go back to a 2 again. If I had the tools then, that I have now... but I didn't... but I do now, so this time is the last time.
So yeah..BRING ON ONEDERLAND!!!!

After a Tuesday weigh-in of 191.1 (felt extra dehydrated), was a little disappointed in the 1.5 lb jump up the next day. Either way, still a downward trend and a week left to lost 1.7 pounds!

I would keep track of my food here on MFP. It is a great tool and gives you caloric and nutrient value. Maybe you are getting too much of a bad thing and not enough good. Read labels. I was shocked at how much sodium is in a Lean Cuisine. Also up your exercise game a bit.

Take body measurements. I find that my measurements go down at times when the scale does not. Ensure that you're eating at your weight loss calorie range. If you are - then try focusing on something - for example, drinking more water, or eating more veggies, or eating more protein. Just something to make you feel you're putting an effort forth. Because over time - if you're eating at your weight loss range - you will start to lose again. I've gone 4-6 weeks without losing when I've been actively trying. Maybe try taking a diet break and just maintaining for a while. Try doing different exercises from what you're currently doing. Do both cardio and ST. That's all I got! Good luck - hope you get moving down again3 -

This has been a difficult 2 weeks. My blood pressure went way up, been struggling with my weight. It has taken me all week to get a handle on it. So I will take what I got. There was a time there, when I thought my weight was going to be 146 for today.

Well what an eventful week this has been. I've cut back on my drinking for just over a month now and I have to say my tolerance levels have already gone way down. I am finally working out how to eat things I want by managing my daily calorie allowance and even though Aunt Flow came round, the scale still dipped this week. I am very happy. Good job everyone!!
