Hmm - I somehow messed up my days last round. No surprises there as I have very little routine right now and all my days are bleeding together! Whoops.
8/26 - Sunday - 185.5*
8/27 - Monday - 186.5* - So much salt the past few days. And so much moving. Got the table done, last heavy thing is the grill. Which is HEAVY. Landlord gave us the extra weekend to move/clean, yay! Still on an emotional roller coaster with the house - change is really hard for me. My dad reminded me that I cried when he painted the house, and also cried when they got rid of a 20 year old couch. So yeah, even good change is hard for me. But I'm learning not to hold to tightly to my feelings - the feelings come and go a little easier these days - I know its okay to feel scared of change, but I have to let it go and feel excited too! Applying these ideas to my weight loss journey too.
8/28 - Tuesday - 185.5* - More pizza and salt last night. Pretty wild day at work so I did not eat much, then basically binged when we finally ate. Need to avoid too skewed of eating and find a happy balance again. I need to start eating my breakfast protein shake again - not getting enough protein in general. And I find when I skip it I'm more likely to put off eating until I'm ravenous and it does not end well. Reminding myself in ALL aspects of my life that simply trying is the first and biggest hurdle for me. I've been stuck in a fixed mindset, that if I try something and fail, I'm somehow less smart because I did not succeed. But I'm moving towards a growth mindset - that trying and failing does not take anything away from me, it only gives me an opportunity to learn and grow from it - so keep trying!!!
8/29 - Wednesday - 185.5* - Still using new house scale. Still hovering around this weight. Mom helped me clean the apartment yesterday. Moms are the best. Packed, loaded and unloaded 2 cars worth of boxes. We worked hard and it was so hot! Moes for dinner - ate half my quesadilla and felt full! Another scorcher today. Will probably unpack some boxes tonight, and finish final moving tasks on Saturday; final dump run, scrapper to pick up washing machine etc, AAA to tow car, and move the grill and garden. Trying to be gentle and kind to myself as we adjust and find our new normal.

weight on 1/29/18 = 234.5
Round 51 – goal = go 24 hours without adult beverages and see what scale has to say
8/26 – to much work to do. And still very sore from laying tile yesterday.
8/27 – 197lbs – up 4 pounds from normal. Worked way to hard this weekend on bathroom remodeling. I am sore, tired, and ready for this project to be over with.
8/28 = 195lbs - not quite as sore today, project is nearly done. Ate 2 half pound burgers with ham, bacon, and all the fixings last night along with my typical beverage. Should have gained but somehow, I am down a little. Yippee
8/29 – 196lbs – poor eating is catching up with me. I won’t get to scared till I see something over 199. That is when I go crazy.

8/26, Sunday – 160.8 Last night was at our friends’ fiftieth wedding anniversary do – all 5 hrs of it. Fun but long and even though I was careful on the food, lots of extra salt and sugar. Hope this is mostly water weight but haven’t been all that careful this week so it may be payback.
8/27, Monday – 159.2 Maybe I can make it under 159 this time.
8/28, Tuesday – 159.2 Determined to sew myself a pair of pants today so I have something nice that really fits and in a color I like. I've sewn in the past but never pants for myself - I know there will be fitting to do but if I can successfully navigate that, it's a relatively easy sew.

Attended the car show with my son and friends. It is a very small car show in a very rural area but it was fun. A lot of sitting which is held around the outdoor BBQ so you will EAT! Also desserts and icecream which is where the real problem comes in. Tried to show restraint and kept my calories reasonable, but the carbs got me on the icecream and desserts. The most important part is that my son and his friend had lots and lots of fun. With the Autism my son is not always comfortable in social situations but he really enjoyed himself and even took pictures of the cars to share with other friends on facebook! It was nice to get out and away since I work a home based business and am stuck at home a lot with the exception of major shopping, since it’s a bit of a travel to get to anything (even a walmart). I am drinking my lemon water that Tish recommended to combat the water retention that “cheating” usually brings. Today my diet will stay on point.

8/26 no scale and travel day. Hardly any sleep due to partying and an early-ish flight.
8/27 .. back home on non digital scale: 73.5kg, no surprise there
8/28 72kg! What a nice surprise after yesterday turned into a holiday recovery day. I started to log and then didn't bother after breakfast. But pre-logged my food for today and already have some extra cals to eat. Also going to boxing class again tonight. One NSV: Finished my 10th run this month and week 5 of my running plan, which means I met that goal. The rest of this round will be about getting back to 71 and beyond and also watching my water intake as I think it's been lower than I assumed.
8/29 72kg - was hoping for a tad better after all the exercise yesterday. Today, my MIL arrives for 2-3 weeks, will have some deliciously home-cooked food and dinners out. Completely forgot to post this morning... So far had a good food say, but hungry now. Yoga class before dinner12 -

Got rid of clothes that are too big for me except some I love & *might* alter.
Went through more of my “thin clothes” & they all fit. Glad I didn’t give up on them. They made it easier to get rid of the things that are too big because they make that very clear. I will wear these until I decide on my final end weight. Then I might get some new items to wear with the others. Closet is *almost* to the point where everything in it is something I love & can wear now, as opposed to when I was heavy (pre-Marie Kondo) when it would take me forever to go through the closet to find one thing that did fit that I could wear. Never. Going. Back.

This is a Huge day for me.
I don’t think I’ve been in 150’s since I dieted in 9th grade. I finally look like I felt inside all this time. Just a few more pounds, not there yet, but mid-torso is slimming & toning, almost there!!
I’ve always heard the last 5-10 lbs are the hardest. It scared me. I had two slower weight loss months in June & July after dieting for many months. Then recommitted. The weight came off fastest this month than any of them. I guess we never know how it will go. Having written this, I bet I’ll have a 2-3 month plateau

@allison8668 Your persistence is inspiring. Thank you for that.
@airbeat Subway is great if staying within your macros like you are. Just steer clear of Jared
@savvyrose88 Don't be afraid to log in your weight during this daily challenge. If you read my posts past & present, you'll see all my weakest moments as well as my normal body fluctuations. I am here to learn about my body, face my failures so I learn from them, celebrate my achievements, and hopefully lose weight along the way while getting healthier. I find that looking at numbers quare in the face/straight in the eyes is my way of being honest with myself and learning at the same time. And it's also a way of showing destiny that I am NOT BACKING DOWN from my fight. I hope my journey can help you and that yours will help me. I love this 10 day challenge most because NO ONE JUDGES YOU on this challenge. We only uplift. So, always, do what is best for you but remember to keep your chin up girl! You got this!!!
@allmannerofthings I hit the 170's this past Sunday. Come join me, it feels great! You are almost there and I know you can do it!
@madisonmolly2017 Congrats on the 150's. I'll meet you there in a few months!
@deckhogan1 sugar is also my weakness, especially at night. How I combat this is with dark chocolate. I use Sam's club 90% cacao as it has zero carbs. Lindt is another I use when I can't get to a Walmart but it's a little pricier and a bit higher in carbs. I started about a year ago using the 72% cacao (much tastier) and s..l..o..w..l..y worked my way up to 90% (much more bitter). I eat 1 square at night (2 if my macros allow it). I break the square into 8-10 small pieces then let each one slowly melt in my mouth. Because it's so rich you've taken so long to eat it, your brain thinks you've had tons of chocolate. It COMPLETELY satisfies my sweet cravings. It does contain sugars or sugar alcohols so if you are T2D like me, watch your amounts and frequency. The antioxidents are an added bonus. I hope this helps.3 -

8/26 162.4 new week new start. Ate good, walked around with my hubby but my water needs to be better, 1 liter. Hope everyone has a great week!!
8/27 161.6 90 min of endurance challenges (plank, crunches, pushups, squats) ate delicious healthy food and drank 1.5 liters of water. Happy to see this number!!!! I know (from experience) that if I keep this up I will easily reach the 50s. Having said that though, I know once I start my 50s those 10 pounds will be way harder to take off from the last 15. Not going to think about that now though, just planning to keep moving forward.
8/28-- 161.4 I drank a bottle of water before I weighed in....oops. Yesterday I had another boost of energy which I find is happening more often then it used too. I did 150 min of exercising, the only issue with that being I ended up staying up till 1 30 in the morning 😥😥 i took the day off because I am going to the hospital with my aunt for the day (nothing serious) so at least I got to sleep in longer then usual but i do need to better manage these energetic days. I was also less hungry, forcing down my food. I always feel like there is no comfortable medium for me I am either always hungry or not hungry at all. 1.6 liters of water
8/29 ---160.8 crazy morning..So happy I can finally post. Ate out yesterday (haven't gone out to a restaurant in forever) but grabbed all healthy alternatives and stayed within my calorie goal. I'm excited by this number but yesterday's lunch had tons of sodium so I am hoping that this number doesn't increase too much or at all by tomorrow. Walked a good amount of the day and didn't get around to my usual work out routine (guess yesterday was my one rest day this week) and drank 1 liter of water. I can't wait to see those 50s, but I am trying not to get my hopes up just yet...TOM will be here in a couple of days

8/26 - Out of town.
8/27 - 147. I missed the end of the last round since I was out of town for a long weekend. We walked everywhere and I even made it to the hotel gym. We also went on a guided food tour. Even before the trip, I had a round of no scale movement. I like what I'm doing this time. It feels sustainable and I hope that I can get to a healthy weight doing it. I'm going to go one more round without changing my program and see if the scale starts to move again. If not, I'll reevaluate for September. Even though the scale isn't moving, I feel stronger, healthier and just a little bit firmer.
8/28 - 146. Yay!
8/29 - 146. I got 146, 145 and 147 from the scale this morning with three consecutive weighings. Maybe my trusty old mechanical scale isn't so trusty anymore. But I kind of have a soft spot for it, I've had it since I was 19!

8/27 174.0/I'm happy to be starting off another round with a loss. At the beginning it was difficult to see the forest through the trees as my weight doesn't decrease very much throughout each 10 day period, but my SW is decreasing over time. My goal for this challenge is to get down to the 171's or to start the next challenge in the 171's. I want to move beyond this decade. I have a trip planned in a little less than a month and would love to lose 8 pounds by then.
8/28 173.6/ Great! I didn’t drink enough water yesterday, but managed to stay pretty close to my calorie goal. It will be about 100 degrees F here today, so I will be drinking plenty of water.
8/29 173.8/ I’m happy to be staying below 174 for a few days in a row, I’m hopeful for a big loss this round. I know that I won’t hit the goal I was hoping for by September 15th but I’d like to be out of this decade.

Round 5 for me
SW:215lbs
UGW: 140lbs
Aims for this round - to exercise at least 5 out of the 10 days and to lose at least another 2lbs. My new mini goal is190lbs but I don't intend to lose it quickly as I'd rather lose it slowly so it stays off. So I'll aim for 195-194 for this round.
Good luck everyone
8/26 197.7- 1lb up from yesterday - not making the right choices with food. I used to keep a food diary and think I need to go back to this to see where I'm going wrong. No workout / lazy day.
8/27 198- 0.3 up on yesterday's weight... hopefully I'll start to go down now, as this usually the pattern ( I hope)
8/28 198- no change - better than going up!! Planning to go swimming tomorrow, as I say need to start moving and by telling my daughter she will nag me until we go.
8/29 198- again no change- went swimming, which was great..planning to do a dancing routine ( not sure which one yet).. trying to find an exercise that I enjoy and will fit in with work when I start back next week, so I can kick this number out the window. Used the MFP diary today.

R49--AW: 220.7 (-) EW: 221.3 (-)
R50--AW: 219.7 (-1) EW: 218.9 (-2.4)
Goal: Be conscious of my snacking in the evenings.
8/26--218.4 Zumba was great yesterday. Installing the closet organizers yesterday took longer and was a lot more work then I thought, but so far so good. I was so focused on the closet yesterday that I hardly drank any water...I can definitely feel it this morning. Plan is to finish putting up the wall paper and installing some more of the closet organizer. I am so sore from yesterday that the plan, assuming the rain holds off, is to go for a long walk.
8/27--219.3 I don't know where that weight came from, I can only assume it's the lack of water I had over the weekend and the soreness from working on the closet organizer...which is now 2/3 done. Regardless, my weight trend is still downward. Forgot to bring my running shoes for a lunch time walk, so going to Zumba tonight and hopefully work on the closet a little this evening.
8/28--220.0 Late check in. Went for walk yesterday with dog. Did some more work on closet and relaxed for rest of evening.
8/29--220.6 Hmmm, I have been feeling heavy these last 3 days and it is showing in the scale. No idea why. This has happened before so I need to figure out why. The first thing I can think of is my water, I have not been drinking my same level of water over the past 3 days as I usually do, so that is the first thing I will make an adjustment to and then see what happens. Regardless of the weight increase I have been eating within my calorie goals, so that is a positive.
