3) major goal = 175 - clothes shopping in Cherating!
4) UGW: 133
It's slow and steady right now. I want it to stay that way. I think I can start hitting more goals this year.

Lol, I just added rice back a little after cutting out most grains for a month. That said, I think its really way more about your personal habits and triggers, so if rice is something that you were having every meal and would drive your calories high, going no rice is an effective way to shake things up! (Me, I know i'm a ways away from adding back black bread...mmm.)

I'm doing a keto diet right now and have been at it for 14 weeks. That's the longest I've ever stuck with any diet. Just finally at a point mentally where I'm sick and tired of being unhappy in my own skin and I've finally found that motivation/willpower to stick with it until the end.
Weight is coming off slow and sometimes it's gaining back the same couple of pounds weeks at a time, but it's coming off and I'm not giving up

9/23 - 261.6 This is significant in that this the weight my old scale was weighing me at consistently when it totally failed and I got the new scale that weighed me higher and seemed to go up everytime I stepped on it. I stopped that and turned it around. However I had gotten down to 258.something on the old scale so that is my goal for the week.1 -

I had a 10 day diet break around September 8-18, so in a sense being down 4 pounds over these past two weeks is kind of not what I was aiming at. It has been that little bit harder to come back the last week, but I'm still motivated and sort of oriented around a certain level of under-eating (but also with a couple of wonky days and some shoddy tracking in there.) I really need to cut that out and focus more on hitting good protein goals and building up fitness.
I'm down to a (tight) size 10 and tried to kind of de/motivate myself by doing some dressing-room-shopping today, but couldn't quite persuade myself to buy anything (I moved less than two months ago with basically what would fit into a carry-on, so I'm just generally short on clothes and should, like, get another pair of jeans just for basic adulting,) because I still have this 'this isn't me yet, I can do this really fast, I'll buy clothes then', logic. At the same time, I might be a size down, but I'm also apparently edging into the squishy and weird 'what is happening with my body??' phase, and also starting to freak way too early about loose skin and who knows what. So anyway its been a weird day.
I'm trying to talk myself into raising calories and slowing down, but might give it another week or two at my current 1250 and see if I can get into a solid lifting routine. If I do, I'll go buy new jeans and just enjoy having a n tight new pair of jeans for a while and raise calories or go on a diet break a bit earlier (or both.)
Sorry for the ramble, it helps to write it out to work through it, and to commit! A kind of public proclamation, if you will.

My big start is Monday Oct 1 It's my birthday and I turn 59. So being that I was born in 59 and I'm turning 59. And I would like to lose at least 59 Lbs. I hope it means it's my good year I work in a 5 story building and my goal is each week to walk up and down a flight of stairs. Add a flight each week.
