Think I might make my final revised goal! Been working my butt off!
Gotta question for you all... This is a heated topic on a lot of threads but since I have gone through acouple of chellanges with you all I was hoping for your opinions & thoughts. Do you eat back your exercise calories??? I have not been this week & do not feel deprived but am afraid that I really need to be eating at least some of them to keep up the weight loss.0 -
Vic, I have enjoyed this challenge and appreciate all you have done ...Thank you. :-)0

Your challenge this week is to enjoy the last few moments of summer. Think about the last 3 weeks we have left and how you are going to spend them. Start thinking of what you are going to do when the challenge is over.
I officially started back to work today and spent my day trying to get my classroom back in order. I got a lot done but I still have a long way to go. School starts next week and life will crazy as ever. I'll be finishing my first round of P90X on Sept. 14th and I'll immediately start into my P90X-TurboFire hybrid. When I start that I'll have 12 weeks until I have my tummy tuck! I'm very excited about that. Since life will be super crazy, and I'll be close to/or at my goal weight, I am not going to do another in-depth 12 week challenge. Keeping track of all the stats and making the charts is very time consuming and since I'll be back to work I won't have the luxury of time. (Don't get me wrong, I LOVE doing these challenges and they keep me so motivated). I won't be doing a challenge, but I will be doing a 12 week accountability thread for anyone who wants to keep posting weight and chatting to help stay on track and be held accountable. I find that the weekly weigh-ins keep me honest. I took part in my first 12 week challenge when I first started in January and I have done one every 12 weeks without fail. Now here I am 30 lbs lighter and so much happier than I have been in a long time. I've made a healthy lifestyle change and I love it. I couldn't imagine going back to the "old me". Next week I go to my daughter's kindergarten Open House. Last year at this time we went to her preschool open house and had a picture taken. I did the typical "hide behind your child" move, but my face was very visible and sooooo round! I am looking forward to having the Open House picture taken this year and not hiding. I'll post pictures of the comparison. It amazes me that I am almost 35 lbs lighter now than I was at this exact same time last year.
I wish you all the very best and I THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for all of the support, motivation, and encouragement that you have given me.
so inspirational and motivating...thank you so much for doing this challenge & for being the very giving person you are!!! Wishing you continued joy and happiness!!!

Still having difficulty with getting the exercise in. I am trying to refocus and make myself an appointment to exercise every night. I put it in my phone and hopefully that will help me not blow it off.

I love this group. You guys are all so supportive!
Not sure I'm going to meet my goal of 165 by the end of this journey, but definitely going to try... More consistency on the weekends will help.

147.0 this week. The kids & I go back to school on Monday. I'm nervous about what the jam packed school & activities schedule will do to my weight. I've been yo-yoing about 4 pounds up & down for the past 2 and a half months.0

I can't quite believe it, I've already surpassed where I thought I'd be by the end of the challenge. It's been such a great motivation all summer, and the last few weeks of summer for me might get me even closer to my ultimate goal of 168. Thank you soooo much for this challenge and the motivation.
Surviving summer (so far...I don't actually go back to University until the end of September) means I know I'm going to be able to get to my goal eventually and I've got the strength to make this a lifestyle change, even if I have a slip up now and then...0 -
Hold the phone!!!! Does that say I'm the biggest loser in my group this week??? YAY!!!! Can't wait to weigh in tomorrow!
I can't believe that summer is almost over! I'm looking forward to starting a boot camp in the next two weeks. In the next few weeks, I'm going to work hard to meet my mini goal so I can go and get my hair cut and colored (oh wow does it need a color!!)0 -

So again this week no change, no change in measurements either. I am getting so frustrated but I am not giving up. Last year I signed up for curves, and did that for 6 months then stopped because I grew out of it and needed more, so i started doing it on my own. I think that I need another boost so I joined a gym today for 3 months with a coworker. More lifting options and more cardio machines I hope will get me off of this road of not losing anything. Needless to say I will not be losing 7 pounds in two weeks maybe 5 if I am lucky but again the last week is my Tom visit so we will see.0
