To start my weight loss journey I scaled down my 5000 caloric intake a day to 1500 Monday thru Friday, and allowed myself a little cheating during the weekend. Apprehensive about going to the gym so I decided to faithfully do Billy Blanks Tae-Bo after work Monday thru Friday (I enjoy kickboxing). The weight started to come off rather quickly. I’ve had my set backs also, but I found ways to get me back on track. Now I’m in the gym a lot actually considered a gym rat (should’ve been in the gym from the beginning). From a workout perspective, find something you enjoy...after Billy Blanks Tae-Bo, I started Zumba class and incorporated small weights (of course I like to dance). Discipline is important as well. Make your weight loss journey fun, and you see the rewards...appreciate the muscle burn after you workout...it is proof your body is responding to your progress! Good luck on your progress.
