So got weighted after being good and sticking to 1500 calories 😏 and Iv gained 😞🙈👊🏻 What can’t I just be thin!! 😭😭

Have you taken on a new exercise routine or close to TOM? Both cause water retention.4

Hmmmm possibly could be water retention 🤷🏻♀️ got foamin with myself so binged...... then cried and was more foamin! Vicious circle ⭕️0

So would I, but it doesn't always happen, often for the reasons @nutmegoreo mentioned or others. Getting emotional about it and binging is counterproductive to your goal. Consistency over time is what matters. What are your stats - height, current weight, goal weight?3 -

Might be time to reevaluate your approach, because that's not going to work long-term. How strict are you being with yourself? Do you have a list of forbidden foods in your head?
How often are you weighing? Is it the same scale? Same time of day? Same clothing?4 -

It could be that your metabolism has now become efficient. This means that your calorie deficit of 1500 calories is no longer your deficit. Your body has basically adapted and adjusted. To get back into a deficit, you now need to go lower. However, you can’t keep going lower every time your body becomes efficient. So you actually need to up your calories for a while to kick start your metabolism again. This may seem totally counter productive, but it does work. A really good source of info on this is on instagram @coachmarkcarroll. The guy looks like a total meat head but he really does post some great information if you sift through his posts. He also trains a ton of women, with lots of posts relating to your issue. I hope you find something useful and good luck.19

OP is only a couple of weeks in a deficit, metabolic adaptation is not the issue.7 -

If you stopped gaining that's already one battle won.
it takes time and weight goes up and down daily so it may just be a flux up masking a loss. my weight can peek an extra 3-4 pds randomly for a list of reasons but then comes back to normal.
are you weighting your food and carefully choosing entries in MFP?1 -

I was losing weight at about 1 lb a week at 1500 calories a day, then my weight loss stopped, I started doing the squat challenge and my weight loss started again, maybe just incorporate small workouts if u aren’t already. Good luck! ☺️3

Why do you want to be thin? Health concerns that are hereditary? Not trying to change your mind just note thin doesn’t mean healthy you want lean strong muscles healthy lifestyle and enjoy food0
