I've been maintaining *more or less* for 4+ years so the NSVs aren't super common anymore. But I'm currently in a really good phase where every time I try on clothes, I like the way everything fits. I'll take it.42

Well done on logging through such a difficult time. As long as you are conscious of what you are eating you will, I am sure, reach your goals. It was right to give yourself time. X
Good job, I lost 60 lbs 6 years ago on mfp and our son passed, 3 months later my dad passed. Gained it all back and struggled, but stayed on mfp, now I weigh less than 6 years ago!

Tried on a dress that I really liked on the hanger, looked awful on me but for the first time I didn’t think it was my fault, told myself it was a bad design and moved on35

I was feeling like I’ve been in a slump this month only losing about 2 lbs so far (was losing 10-12 lbs past several months). Then I compared a side by side photo from when I first started (July 2018) til today and I really think I can finally start to see a difference to myself. Still have more to go, but feeling more motivated again

My end of year bench press goal is 200 pounds. Last night I benched 185 x 2. Not a Titan by any stretch of the imagination but its a lot for me. I am going to get there!34

Two weeks ago I brought out my winter clothes. The next day I went to wear one of the sweaters only to end up swimming in it. Put it back and tried on 3 more with the same result. These were all purchased last winter and are now way too big on me so I ended up going shopping for some new sweaters in sizes Small and medium depending on the style! I was not expecting them to be so huge on me, I thought they would be baggy but not to this extent! Made me super happy.

My best friends had an extra ticket for Kylie Minogue (yes, I'm old), which he gave to me without wanting money for it (it was expensive!). What to wear, what to wear? I don't have any fancy clothing and I own exactly one shirt with some glitter on it, which I hadn't worn in at least 5 years. Low and behold, it fit better than ever!29

Dropped 14 sizes in jeans/pants over almost 4 months.

I’ve been wearing size XL scrubs for the last four years and I just purchased SMALL pants and medium tops!! 🙌 😃41

For many years, I've kept several pair of 36 inch jeans, repeatedly telling myself that I'd eventually get into them again. Today, I did!35

I know the scale isn’t everything but right now it’s been kinda a big thing.. it seems like I was going to forever be stuck at 185 lbs.. I weighed this morning and I am at 179.0! My heart skipped a beat.. this calorie counting and exercise has been good for me. I just have to keep the confidence in myself up.34

Last night I ran 4.5km. I've never just casually run that far before. And I ran most of it without walking much. And it felt really good. I kept looking at my fitbit and thinking "actually I could go a little longer, lets take that slightly longer route" And tbh I think I definitely could've gone a little further. I wish I did an extra little loop to get that extra 500m and got the full 5k. However, as someone who has always hated running ... I didn't hate it.38

@rldeclercq4 I'm not sure if the people clicking woo realise it's not a good thing on MFP. Anyway, congratulations, your achievements are amazing. I hope I'm the same in a couple of years' time8

Really scrubbed my tub and shower walls and it was easy because I'm stronger and more flexible. My other NSV was an actual goal. I did the elliptical machine yesterday. So far, I've been swimming for a month and a half and wanted to find another activity to do at the gym. I'm old, heavy and weak with a sore knee and hip and the pool is great for me but I wanted to add a weight bearing exercise, Before I started swimming I couldn't walk 5 blocks. I'm really trying to enjoy each NSV because they come so quickly and easily for people like me who are just starting out. I don't want to forget how bad I used to feel every morning, sore from laying down!29

Oh no!! So sorry everyone! 🤦🏻♀️ That’s what I get for posting so late/early and while hopped up on cold medicine!! Thank you anyway Mexicangreensalsa! 😊14

After hitting my goal weight on Monday, I'm moving from the General Health, Fitness and Diet forums on MFP to the Goal: Maintaining Weight forums
Never thought I'd ever be looking in there for advice!33 -
I saw my first visible vein on my shoulder in spite of being in a gaining period. And my one arm dumbbell row 1RM is now 50 lbs. 50! I'm pretty stoked about that. So naturally I have to boast22

I can borrow clothes from my college age daughter.
My husband and I are loosing weight together.
I have collar bones and only slight back fat roll.24 -
Ran my first Gobbler 5k! Didn't break any records, but I ran.

I fit into a smaller size of jeans today, straight out of the dryer and with no contortionism/laying on the bed/ sucking in required. They're very comfortable, for the first time in probably a year, and remained comfortable during and after Thanksgiving lunch.34

I’ve dropped another size in my jeans. I’m now a UK 14, I was a UK 24.

I enjoyed Thanksgiving--from the traditional breakfast with cinnamon twists and apple sausage down to the big event-with lots of wine all of everything and pie. I was worried about not enjoying--eyeing portions, feeling guilty and just plain stressing--but no--it was one day of pure indulgence. Now back on track. (oh yeah--with my fake logging of a bizzilion calories I would gain over 100 pounds "if every day was like today")27
-
I also just enjoyed the day yesterday. I definitely ate over maintenance but didn’t go hog wild or anything. I logged as best I could, loosely.
It’s a new day today, I’m wearing my size 4 skinny jeans, and it’s back to reality:)
I plan to do the same for Christmas.21 -
I was in total control with my eating yesterday. Normally I would eat tons of food and feel miserable. This is a huge accomplishment for me. MFP is helping to keep me on track.24
-
Yesterday, I did a 5K Turkey Trot (in 18 degree weather) and PR'd! Then I only had two bites of the cinnamon buns they gave out post-race. I took a Zumba class with my MIL about an hour later and felt great. I hosted Thanksgiving dinner for 25, ate everything I wanted and avoided a food coma. I ended the day feeling pretty darn good!26

OK my second NSV today. (We are old--70s) It was 26 degrees with "feels like" 19. After final clean up--and putting the bones in to make stock my husband is standing by the door with his coat on saying--well are we walking or what?? I don't know which is the greater victory... the fact that we walked--or the fact the DH was the one who wanted to walk.36
