After hitting my goal weight on Monday, I'm moving from the General Health, Fitness and Diet forums on MFP to the Goal: Maintaining Weight forums
Never thought I'd ever be looking in there for advice!33 -
I saw my first visible vein on my shoulder in spite of being in a gaining period. And my one arm dumbbell row 1RM is now 50 lbs. 50! I'm pretty stoked about that. So naturally I have to boast22

I can borrow clothes from my college age daughter.
My husband and I are loosing weight together.
I have collar bones and only slight back fat roll.24 -
Ran my first Gobbler 5k! Didn't break any records, but I ran.

I fit into a smaller size of jeans today, straight out of the dryer and with no contortionism/laying on the bed/ sucking in required. They're very comfortable, for the first time in probably a year, and remained comfortable during and after Thanksgiving lunch.34

I’ve dropped another size in my jeans. I’m now a UK 14, I was a UK 24.

I enjoyed Thanksgiving--from the traditional breakfast with cinnamon twists and apple sausage down to the big event-with lots of wine all of everything and pie. I was worried about not enjoying--eyeing portions, feeling guilty and just plain stressing--but no--it was one day of pure indulgence. Now back on track. (oh yeah--with my fake logging of a bizzilion calories I would gain over 100 pounds "if every day was like today")27

I also just enjoyed the day yesterday. I definitely ate over maintenance but didn’t go hog wild or anything. I logged as best I could, loosely.
It’s a new day today, I’m wearing my size 4 skinny jeans, and it’s back to reality:)
I plan to do the same for Christmas.21 -
I was in total control with my eating yesterday. Normally I would eat tons of food and feel miserable. This is a huge accomplishment for me. MFP is helping to keep me on track.24

Yesterday, I did a 5K Turkey Trot (in 18 degree weather) and PR'd! Then I only had two bites of the cinnamon buns they gave out post-race. I took a Zumba class with my MIL about an hour later and felt great. I hosted Thanksgiving dinner for 25, ate everything I wanted and avoided a food coma. I ended the day feeling pretty darn good!26

OK my second NSV today. (We are old--70s) It was 26 degrees with "feels like" 19. After final clean up--and putting the bones in to make stock my husband is standing by the door with his coat on saying--well are we walking or what?? I don't know which is the greater victory... the fact that we walked--or the fact the DH was the one who wanted to walk.36

I finished a 5K Turkey Trot yesterday with about 2 extra miles to and from the parking lot. Better time than last year, not even close to being worn out.23

I just found out that I’ve passed an important exam that my career depended on. That is a personal victory but the other NSV is after a very stressful time studying and waiting on results I didn’t revert to my old stress eating habits (completely). I’m currently maintaining (lost 103lbs) and maybe had 1 day a week of stress indulgence but I still track everything, and I’m still maintaining! I find a long walk good for stress relief and preventing snacking so win win 😁42

Went to two potlucks and stayed on my diet at both. Wasn't even tempted by the desserts.29

Professional exams for certifications are extremely stressful - I still have moments when I relive those days, very glad it was in the past. Kudos for not letting it derail your weight goals!17 -

Thanks rcreynol3090 for your kind words, I’ve not let my pass sink in yet, very stressful but glad it’s finally over 😂9 -
I felt like I pigged out Wednesday (work had a mostly sweets breakfast laid out) and Thursday. I ate light and worked out yesterday and surprised to see pretty much nothing on the scale this morning. I have been close to the top of my maintenance range lately; I want to have a little more wiggle room at Christmas so I am going to try to eat at a deficit for a while.19

Broke 130 miles of swimming in a 4 week period.
And my colleagues in China who would openly fat shamed me are silent. Others actually used the words slim and motivating in reference to me.
I'm not slim yet as I see it. But my shoulders are36 -
A box of donuts showed up at work yesterday. I looked in the box and decided that no, my favourite type wasn't there, and walked away. At one time I would have just grabbed any old one and eaten it while walking back to my desk, without any thought at all.30

Enjoyed Thursday food and my day off the gym. In laws seriously had nothing I could eat (literally meat and meat containing sides left on Friday, nothing else but a box of lucky charms and some frozen French fries in the house)...so I ate a lot of cheese. Oh well.
But, NSV is that even though SIL bailed on me Friday so I couldn’t hit the gym (needed her to get me in as a guest), I did an hour’s worth of Pilates and resistance band videos. Now I’m back at it, back to regular diet and exercise. Just leaving those two days full of cheese and wine in the past.21
