Updated for November 15. I started tracking last week as an effort to get in the habit. This week my focus is on not eating snacks after dinner and getting consistent with my calories. The weekdays are easier with a routine but weekends can be tricky with eating out.
I’m glad that Monday I was easily able to fit in lunch out with colleagues so far feeling great and taking it one meal at a time!
Updated for November 22. Really happy with my compliance to macros and calories at the moment. I’ve actually found that I’ve been underrating more than I’d like, but haven’t been hungry. Each afternoon I snack on a cucumber (newly acquired favorite snack!). This week’s goal is to meditate every day. Going strong!
Updated for November 28th. Interesting to see how weight fluctuates. I’ve been training consistently and eating fairly consistently, with a big eating day last weekend. Overall I’m happy with how I am tracking despite the lack of shift in weight. I’m feeling strong despite the calorie deficit and able to mix in a few unplanned meals out. My goal has always been to make this a lifestyle rather than a quick fix. I’ve tried the quick fix before and it’s made me and those around me miserable. I’m glad to take this slow- I always remind myself, weight loss is a marathon, not a sprint! And overall, I’m working to make that number on the scale less meaningful and have less control on my mood.

Nov 1-8 notes: So far I've gotten in 2 workouts this week. Rockclimbing on Monday & a group class on Thursday. My 3rd workout this week will be a walk on Saturday. I'm thinking of joining a pushup challenge to gain upper body strength to improve my rockclimbing.
This week my colleagues have started to notice I've lost weight!

Nov 8-15 notes: this week I struggled with cravings, oh my I wanted everything! I gave in, but didn't over do it (big step for me). Made it to the gym 3x this week as planned.

Nov 16 -21 notes: already thinking about my next goals! I'm new to using the community aspect of MFP and am quite enjoying it. This is the first week since September I've seen the weight go up, I want to make sure I don't let this go to my head, ie don't give up or lose momentum. Since I've eaten out 3 times this week, I had a feeling this would happen, but its okay!

Notes Nov 22 -29: Got in my 3 workouts this week, and made my Nov weight loss goal! I've found this last week I've been more hungry than normal, and might adjust my overall calorie goal as it's feeling a little too restrictive. Maybe a slower weight loss for next month... It may mean it'll take longer to get to my overall goal, but I think my chances of overall success will increase if I do this.
