That's all I could run 7 weeks ago and I felt like I was going to die, now I can for 52 mins. As soon as you get started, it gets surprising how quickly it gets easier and easier. At the moment, I don't find running much harder than walking, and it's heaps easier to run than it was to walk when I got my fitbit on July 3 this year. Then walking 2.7 km walking was agony.
That is awesome! Thank you for sharing and inspiring!5 -
My completely non-confrontational, conflict avoidance, hard time telling the truth if I think it will hurt others self - answered honestly and respectfully when DH asked if I needed more alone time. I DO! And he was understanding - a great lesson and step in the right direction for speaking my truth all the time!36

I need to get a new jacket; my old winter jacket is way too baggy. I was checking out some styles by trying on my kids jackets. One is a small that fits.25

I’ve dropped another cup size in my bras. Plus, they’ve now got a smaller strap at the back29

Ha! @Jedi_Jo I just got on here to say the same thing!! I’m down from a 34G to a 34DD! Just finished doing crunches and it didn’t feel like I was suffocating! Farewell to my twins Helga and Olga!28

I am able to hover again in the washroom. Ladies ya know what I mean?

Went shopping at one of my favorite clothes stores, was looking on the side of store where plus sizes are which is where I've always looked. Once of the Clerks told me to "go to the other side of the store where I belonged as the plus sizes were too big". I haven't shopped regular sizes in YEARS.37

The fat is finally disappearing from my thighs. I can see two particular lumps and bumps reducing when I look in the mirror.
On my worst days my diet may live or die by the number on the scale because I couldn't see any progress (despite clothes being looser - I still felt massive on my thighs). I finally feel like the number on the scale doesn't matter as I can now see I am losing from where I want it gone.25 -
I just realized... I am now 4kg less than my driver's license weight. This happened without me even realizing it!!31

I had someone who has known me well for 2 years (we see each other twice a week) walk into a room to find me in a small group of women and kids. She did not recognize me until I turned around. Yes, my caboose is shrinking. Woohoo!24

My first post-cancer 5K, followed by a second 5K three days later. Shaving 7 minutes off the time between the two (in fairness, each time I purposely slowed the pace for family members or friends).31

It took me two months longer to complete than I'd planned due to unexpected travel, illness, forest fires, and snow. And it wasn't pretty. But my C210K is done!

I've been in maintenance for about 2 years and got a nice boost the other day. I was out for dinner with a group of people and the man I was sitting next to, whom I'd never met before, asked me what my sport was. He looked at my arms and said that I was clearly an athlete. Wish I had something more interesting to tell him than that I go to the gym!31

Completed the St Jude 5k with my oldest son (9)—we finished in 30:36, not bad for a non-runner with a hip injury and a first time 5k-er! He had a great time and is already making plans for more races. My husband did well in the 10k—Big NSV for him, and so wonderful to be active as a family. My 7yo is already planning to run next year’s 5k
